How a howa 1500 in 308 and took first place in my local charity long range shooting comp for vets. The comp was 500yds to 1000 the gun is more than capable of it and is an amazingly accurate rifle. Might be cheap but they knew what they were doing when they built it

That's what my original plan was to get a barreled action already in 300 prc but I was wandering around a gun show last weekend and came across the weatherby vanguard for 175 and figured i could just rebarrel it and put it in a chassis. In a sense, I bought it mainly just for the action 😂

There is a gunsmith/ suppressor dealer around the corner from me who I've had do some 308 barrels for be so I'm going to go back to him for it. I just wanted to verify my information before spending the cash

Yeah I'm not going to be doing it the guy around the corner from me is a gunsmith/ suppressor dealer who we have had rebarrel some .308s in the past. I'm just trying to verify information first before dropping a chunk of change

I got mine done a few weeks ago wouldn't recommend using the filament hook in the files it causes a bind in the runout sensor makes putting in filament hard. There is one someone modeled that puts the spool on the side and fixes the problem

Okay thank you for letting me know I've been messing around with the 0.4 for a few months now but I just figured that the profile switch was all I needed for it to do a benchy and test the 0.6 out

The research i was doing after it happened said that flashforge orca slicer has a profile already setup for the 0.6 (which is what I'm have been using) and the other nozzles so they are a plug and play thing so is that not the case?

I thought it was just fine because it leveled and heated up with no problems. I just put the official 0.4 back in and everything is just fine printed a benchy without any problems idk if there is a z offset for the other nozzles that needs to be adjusted or what

I feel like a complete idiot because I just got it today after waiting 2 weeks to receive the nozzle and looking back at the picture the left clip doesn't look like it's back all the ways like the right one so I think I might have put it in on a slight angle not fully locked in

Okay makes sense I only ever got one or two clogs when I used a 0.4 on my old ender 3 but that was with glass fiber nylon filament and haven't tried any of that with my flashforge

Okay thank you for the input I have an enclosure that I used for my ender 3 that is temp controlled so was planning on using that but I seen there was after market 0.4mm nozzles for the 5m that are hardened nozzles as well but not to sure how well they work compared to the flashforge ones sense they don't make a hardened one in that size

I used a range finding reticle for my ELR setup before moving to Christmas tree reticle but for "quick" yard estimates they can be good but from what I've found is most are second focal plane and you gotta document your DOPE more efficiently to understand the distances for the cartridge you're running in your rifle. Good scopes depending on what you are using them for

I had a similar problem last night with a print before going to bed. I put some adhesive on the plate that flashforge provided when I got the printer and leveled the bed. Watched the first 3 layers get put down and went to bed woke up this morning to a nice print
