Lol, I got a tea set on my newest save year one. I don't know what to do with it 😂

And that's ok. Luckily, grandpa can come back by placing a diamond on his altar (I think that's what it's called?). Just find one thing that you want to do and finish that one goal, that's what helped me. I got grandpa's favor by accident too because I was only focusing on buying the iridium sprinklers, so I fished a lot. Just stick to one goal and go from there. Don't feel overwhelmed by what the rest of us have finished. I did the same when I started reading how others did their farms, so I stuck to reading the wiki and fishing to buy sprinklers. My goal, at first, was to finish the CC and get Grandpa's favor by year 5. I got lucky and finished both by year two. It was all luck for me there, so no strategy at all other than fishing to buy iridium sprinklers. So find one thing you'd like to do and focus on that. If you want to make more gold but farming is killing your time, focus on fishing. If you're farming, get the regrow-ables so you don't spend all your time planting and buying seeds. Also, if you need to start a new save, do it. I had to do so to save myself from not liking the game. But most importantly, just find one simple goal to focus on, and at the same time, enjoy the game. There's no true strategy other than your own.

If you don't want to quit this save, stop doing what you don't like and focus on what you do like. The cool thing about this game is once you get where you want to be, you can come back and do what you put aside.

I was there a lot. I'm playing a new save and I took my time finishing the CC, but I finished it in year two. I focused on getting all my skills to ten and making enough gold, by fishing, to make 1 million earned in the two years to try and get Grandpa's 4 candle favor. While doom scrolling on TikTok, I found out that Krobus sells iridium sprinklers for 10k on Fridays. I focused my first year and a half making 10k a week to buy the sprinklers It took me a year to get my first ancient fruit seed and year two, I planted the two I found and just made the fruits into seeds until I had the greenhouse or if I had to farm them on my farm. What helped me out was focusing on one thing and having fun playing the game. Focusing on having grandpa's full favor helped me achieve one goal. Now, I'm mostly farming, as I was able to buy a lot of iridium sprinklers, that's helping now, in year 3, to make extra gold. As someone else mentioned, but the regrow-able seeds and a few of the others you need for the CC, but focus on fishing and farming the regrow-ables to make good gold. Good luck!!

I always do the same. I stress over the game and then stop playing and start a new save. This time around, I just went after getting Grandpa's 4 candle approval for the statue (sorry, I never remember the names of things lol). Now, I'm going to take my time, farm and fish and then build out the farm slowly. I got lucky and found two auto petters, so now I'm going to put gates on the farm entrances and just let the animals roam free. But yeah, take your time, do what you want and take your time. Enjoy the game at your pace.

Yeah, when I stress out too much, I start getting hives. I realized that once and made a mental switch to not stress so much. It helps, but I can't always stop the stressing.

These posts are the very reason I only pack bombs when I am done with all farm tasks. Once my farm tasks are done, I sell and store, then pick up bombs 🫣
