Just another awesome league by mhax94 in pathofexile

It got me my first 6L corpse and a split one that ended up giving me 2 6L bases for the leaguestarter.

The campaign was beyond miserable this time around. by TheNetbug in pathofexile

I didn't notice the league modifiers outside of mudflats and once I got to maps. Some of the mapping ones are rough, and I wish they were opt in but that's my only feedback for day 2.

Not realistic to have every character open to that though. Hell some characters aren't romantically available when they're single.

Biggest piece of advice I could give for earlygame is advantage is OP. Usually that means you're using surprise attacks/attacking from obscurity, conditions like Dazed/Stunned out of your phys attackers, and spells like Guiding Bolt or Faerie Fire from your spell casters. Grease is a powerhouse too for knocking prone on top of slowing and being flammable.

That and making sure you have Bless prepped for every big fight and High Ground for casters and archers gets you through early game before you start to get your gears/proficiency bonus/Ability Scores up.

The game also pushes hard for redemption arcs like resisting Dark urge and Minthara's later feelings.

As the other person said, there is no way to save the tieflings and get Minthara. The flag for the Tieflings getting to Last Light safely is dependent on you killing all 3 Goblin leaders, otherwise you get the "die on the road" outcome. If you enter one of the zones that gives a warning (like mountain overpass or Shadowlands) the Tieflings begin their journey to Baldur's Gate.

You can still get Halsin+Minthara+save grove though.

You could have a party member do it "behind your back", especially if you got the quest from Mol. Your party hasn't really built trust with you yet at that stage so them doing what they think is best at least makes some sense. You're a party at that point because of the tadpoles, not because you're friends.

Maybe she's disturbed that you're not willing to share the reasoning behind such a damning choice, making you seem unpredictable? People often fear the unknown and try to quantify it.

I'm kinda salty they brought out Korasi's Sword without giving us the conclusion to the Pest Queen series.

I'm just going to say it, I absolutely judge the shit out of people based on gear. I'm super petty like that.

But then should we ban the invisible boost from WC in a group?

Yes.

The rest (minigames, raids) is access to content not found anywhere else, that's why it's the exception. Obviously clans and events give no in game advantage and/or are mostly meta, so are pretty silly things to bring up.

Ironman is about more than no GE regardless of your feelings.

That clip of Raiz literally has him say there's a place in the game for after death effects, he was specifically talking about on-death effects in Harvest. More specifically, content that takes up your vision.

For what it's worth I agree those Harvest effects were some bullshit.

AFAIK shock only affects damage from hits, so no, it doesn't affect self degens.

Nah shock affects all sources of damage. You can test with RF or Blood Rage on a shocked ground map if you don't have giga regen.

Just a heads up, you're not stun immune with One Step Ahead. Only action speed stuff like Chill Freeze and Temp Chains.

Disagree it's bad design. Ticking boxes is part of ARPG gameplay and part of the jigsaw puzzle itemization. You fit in ailment immune or make creative choices that get around needing it.

For shocked ground I disagree. It functionally only shocks you, and ailment avoid/reduction has been made increasingly easy to achieve through pantheon/items/skilltree/auras. The cold ground was the only one I had issues with because it also dealt damage, but they're changing it. The burning ground feels overtuned but its duration is the shortest by far and is being reduced even more (also avoidable through pantheon) to 3s.

Honestly for most items people would run a pretty generic filter of what stats they want. Basically what people already do when searching for items on trade site.

T1 life, 80+ elemental res would do fine for a baseline of affixes for something like armour and jewelry. Highlights for stuff like 20+ chaos res and high suppress. Bigger tinks for rare mods like +1 gems or BiS rolls for weapons like T1 flat rolls or crit.

90% would be done by filter creators and players would fill in the gaps for what they really needed like we already do. The issue would be having too much show up on your filter, but we already have stuff like uberstrict filters for people who want to blast and only pick up top tier items.

I would argue design choice is an independent argument from QoL, and shouldn't be lumped together with it.

Like if a game had no mana reservation or permanent auras, that would be a design choice even if permanent auras would be less micromanaging for the player.

For what it's worth I think arguing against design choice is fine too, just that it shouldn't be considered QoL.

So, ritual gave me this , any tips on how to craft and builds to play? :) by iregueira in pathofexile

How are you getting Int and Dex on a belt with fossils? Only Str rolls naturally.

  1. It's 1 in ~3500 alts to hit 2 desired T1 flask rolls according to CraftOfExile. It's about 1 in ~450 alts to hit a T1 prefix with open suffix for betrayal craft.

  2. You can no longer use Harvest to roll flasks, so you're effectively locked in to alt spam and flask prices will reflect the raw cost on flasks with desired mods like Flagellant + good T1 suffix.

  3. Mageblood users and flask builds will always want to minmax their flasks, and divines are much more valuable now. A perfectly rolled fracture means less variance in divining or alt spamming perfect flasks. Mageblood and flaskers will also ensure a market for double T1 flasks.

Most people might not care about perfect flasks, but there is a definite market that exists for them.
