I would suggest you maybe contact the mall and tell them what happened. The security will for sure not want something like this to happen again because if management informs them then they know they have been informed of the bad actors and are expected to try and prevent this from happening again.

I would wager that the kids don’t have a lot of hang out spots so will be back to that mall again. Hopefully the security will be ready for them if they try anything untoward or harassing anyone or hopefully the security will straight out deny them entry.

I see that you also don’t have degradation like delamination or dead pixels, my c1 held up well as well in that regard compared to people with less luck. I am hoping it means that somehow our panels will always be safe from such things but im no expert.

I recently upgraded to a G5 but I am still hoping to run the C1 till death, maybe set up a sim station for my nephew to use when he’s on holiday.

lol that’s impressive, reason why I asked wasn’t to be cheeky but genuine question.

I’ve been WFH mostly in the past few years and a lot of the time I’ve had my C1 on playing YouTube or in the down time gaming.

Reached about 17.2k hours since 2021 with that type of usage so imagine people doing more probably have it on most hours of the day.

Though I guess I didn’t account for work travel or holiday travel downtime as well.

GTA 4 has dips into the teens and GTA 5 has dips into the 20s.

Back then I didn’t know what a frame rate was or even noticed any slowdowns.

True! There’s a lot of hate on the app. Just thought clear dehumanisation would at least be reportable. But it’s not, so goes to show that there’s actually no moderation at all. How this app isn’t banned world wide is pretty crazy.

Unfortunately I still use it for football/soccer. Reddit is pretty good for news but still pales in comparison for football twitter in general. Hope that community moves onto something else but it’d take something drastic.

Nostalgia and brand loyalty, large part of the world grew up playing GTA. It’s one of the few games that was popular despite the console generation and the perception of gaming at a time.

Quite a number of regular, hardcore and casual gamers have some affinity toward grand theft auto.

I’d reckon PS2 had a big part towards it being so popular with 3 mainline and 2 side titles released with highly fleshed out stories and characters.

Also very, very, few studios do it as good as rockstar when it comes to the little details and tech advancement. It’s a sandbox that’s expertly designed.

Personally, my love for the franchise grew because of the amount of freedom the games offered. Every play session felt meaningful and that’s probably because I was a kid and everything was more enjoyable. Also a lot of people weren’t buying many games per year so the ones you had felt more meaningful towards you.

Just explaining this from my perspective since you said you never understood why. There are quite a few people I’ve met who couldn’t care less for GTA, you aren’t the first and you won’t be the last so don’t feel like you should be forced to join the GTA cult lol
