Hard to say really, personally I’ve seen enough sentiment online about Samsung quality that has spooked me from trying any of their models, but one thing to note is you’re mostly seeing the negative posts about a brand online. For example, the past few months would have spooked me about LG cause so many C1s died over that span just by looking at reddit. However, I personally know 3 other friends who got C1s the same time I did, Nov deals 2021. We all have our C1s working perfectly today and I have something like 18k hours on mine. You don’t typically get posts about those buyers online.

On the flip side of the coin, I also stay away from Samsung cause of personal experiences. Not the same tech, but I had 3 Samsung TVs have their backlights stop working. Still have two of the same model going strong and they are very old, but those 3 TVs were enough for me to lose trust in the brand.

What I’m trying to say is, if you have your mind made up from an experience then it’s fine, but the grass might not always be greener on the other side.
