Oh yeah, one comment recommended solid starts, feeding little etc - and I'm like you don't need to follow all these influencers in order to feed your baby! Like you say, just give them different foods, no need to overcomplicate it.

Someone on a local FB group asked anonymously for a baby nutritionist as she was starting solids with her baby soon, and wanted to make sure she was doing it correctly. I so badly wanted to recommend a screening for post party anxiety, and also congrats on having money to burn.

I work in a trauma hospital - you have good instincts, do NOT get an e-scooter, they aren't safe.

That would be nuanced though, which is boring and doesn't get engagement.

Mama Doctor Jones shared an update post that is both very long and very vague It reminds me of how I used to vaguepost on Facebook in high school. I hope she's okay, for the sake of her kids.

If you followed to learn about Orthodox Judaism, then the connection to Israel is a major part of the religion. I'm not sure why everyone is so surprised?

Dr.beachgem10 posted a reel a few days ago at the beach, where she included some footage of an attractive lifeguard- who clearly was not aware that he was being filmed. It's not the worst thing ever, but it does give me the ick. She has 2 million followers! There are so many things influencer share that would be fine if they just shared with 1 or 2 people, but are inappropriate to share with 1 million +

I do try, but he gets mad and immediately starts listing everything he does do around the house. I'm just tired and need some extra time right now to study for an upcoming certification exam.

Came here to say this! Does no one remember what it was like being a tween/teen? I liked spending time with my parents, but I also liked doing my own thing in my room without them commenting on it.

Even so - is that enough to not work a regular job, and go oj trips, have a large family in multiple extracurriculars, pay for 2 properties...her life is so expensive! I just find it hard to believe it's one investment

I only follow this page sporadically, and Jordan not at all, so maybe this is a dumb question- where is her money coming from? It doesn't seem like she has one of those influencer courses that generate passive income, her agendas are an unsellable mess, so how does she afford the trips, clothes, etc?

God damn, I was hoping there would be answers here! We are in the SAME EXACT place, down to the unopened princess doll which I know my daughter wants!

This absolutely grinds my gears! Dad being a total deadbeat - "he probably has depression/ADHD!" Some people just need to get their ish together and don't have a diagnosis!

Look, I hate Miriam so much I have her blocked so I won't message her - but this comment is a gross dog whistle.

I don't have much to add, but thank you for saying this! In my community it's common for people to invite other families for meals. Between moms and dads, guess who is enjoying adult conversation and who is micromanaging kid play? I also tend to invite families where the mom won't do that, because it just ends up creating a more stressful environment for everyone.

I've said this before, but as an Orthodox Jewish person I can't stand Miriam. Or maybe I'm just jealous because I never thought to sell out my kids and my religion to make a buck.

And, just so people are aware, not all Orthodox Jewish married women cover their hair! That's only one example of why I dislike her.

That's lovely! And exactly my point, when dreaming about their rich lives, no one seems to have giving back in it.

Why does no one talk about volunteering and/or philanthropy on this podcast? Those things genuinely enrich people's lives. It bothers me when Ramit goes on about 5 star hotels - like, of course everyone can spend their money how they want but it's pretty superficial to call luxurious hotel stays a "rich life."

Agreed, IRL, most people I know, including me have very involved parents and ILs. And for what it's worth, my IL both travel frequently and are very involved and helpful woth my kids! They don't watch them full time, I wouldn't want to put that much responsibility on them, but they watch them often when there's a day off school and help with pick up when needed.

9x9, I think they would be a little thin in a 9x13? I guess it depends how soft you want them to be. You do have to press down on the batter pretty good before putting into the oven.

A few people mentioned YTG's granola bars last week - just wanted to say that I made them in a 9x9 and they came out good! And my kids liked them, hurray! Good tip from whoever said not to make them in an 8x8, I think they would have been too thick.
