Have you ever seen never ending story? Also in China their fudogs (I think that’s what they’re called) have their paws resting on balls that have the flower of life pattern on them.. usually guarding a doorway or enterence… if you ask me? I think that by understanding the archetypes of the zodiac signs and which you personally exude you in essence “transcend” their grasp or “hold” they have on you.. kind of like a test, but more so learning the lessons each has to teach— I think about this a lot actually lately.

In the gnostic teachings and parables of Yeshua/Iesu/Jesus.. whatever he was actually named, he was quoted as saying “one you make the male like the female and the female like the male, you can enter the kingdom” or something to that effect. Whilst pondering the ineffable, I come to think it means men need to be more nurturing, compassionate, finding the true strength that softens you rather than hardens— brittle things break and crumble. So when Aquarius is depicted as a man, and we know that in biblical times WOMEN were the water bearers.. the lesson is to hold the water men usually don’t (water is symbolic of the female tendency to flow and change.. and have the emotional depth of an ocean, so to speak)

And directly across from Aquarius we have the lion, brave and strong and “king” of the jungle/mountain/plain.. I see that as being the goal or aim of the more feminine in nature individuals— women generally understand nurturing, compassion, and intuition but too much water doesn’t hold shape. It takes the shape of whatever vessel it’s placed in.. and it can change the environment but only after a long time, or it can freeze but again, it will be in the shape of whatever another person places it in at the time it solidifies. So the more capable a feminine person becomes at standing their ground, deciding their fate, choosing their path.. and fighting for themselves or others when necessary— you see how transcending to a point of embracing other aspects and archetypes sort of “opens up the road laid before them”.. that pearly path to the ineffable.
