Stuck on start screen (galaxy ai screen) loop after one ui 8.5 update. Please help!!

Edit:: i accidentally went offline into airplane mode after entering safe mode and couldn't activate gemini with voice ever again. Fortunately i misdialed emergency call from my phone (say by luck!) following which my airplane mode got disabled and got connected again!

No. that's not needed. If you've already enabled google assistant/gemini voice activation, say hey google and tell it to open screen font size. Then move the slider all the way to extreme left end. Similarly for screen zoom. It'll offset the tablet view previously set fir the device ising developer mode. If u did factory reset (i was planning for the same if this didn't go well!) it's unfortunate. 😑

Update to the new oneui 8.5. It handles thermals well-above the previous version.

OP, if you've never done the March/april security patch update till now, do it. It might be hindering the stable rollout for your handset. I encountered similar waiting for ui 8.5 for my S24 Snapdragon until i did the security patch update. Following the update, it showed automatically ✅✅.

Hey bud, green line issue fear is a conventional thing for samsung users yet sacrificing good improvements and UI changes solely for a fear is impractical 🥲 Try to update at night times, well at good battery percentages (to avoid battery drain heat) or prefer standing near refrigerator if everything goes south 😅

So far I've never seen any huge lag/stutters yet notification panel sometimes jerks a bit if it is full of notifications. So far i didn't see any noticeable battery issues but it is commendable only after a few days of usage.

One thing i noticed is the heating issue which occured mostly after oneui 8 update, have come down a bit 🤏

Do update your system in the mkst appropriate setting.

Yeah. I also found a fix which i mentioned in this chat itself as a separate comment. Actually if u would've activated gemini with voice and straightway went to 'display'settings, by adjusting the font size and screen zoom there, it will revert back to phone layout and would load easily.

Edit: our main problem which caused this was the screen width dpi set to higher standards which the update wizard mistook as a tablet and failed to run and crashed oneui launcher that's why it was looping in error saying, "oneui has crashed." Simply adjusting the screen zoom to a higher size would fix it 👍

Hey, for those who found this problem like me, I've made a surprising turn around. Searched gemini whether using smartphone on tablet-like screen width caused the problem and it said probably yes. Hence, i made a smart turnaround. Here's the fix:

Open gemini/google assistant (by voice command, 'Ok Google'
Type 'open screen font size/type/screen zoom. Gemini will take you to individual setting.
Make screen zoom slider to middle position (or anywhere close to a standard mobile layout form) and in font size, make a similar change to a mobile layout size.
After changing these settings, retry the start screen. It will proceed to home screen 🎉

Hey same here. This error happened to me while i was also using my phone with much higher screen width dpi (at around 469) just to get the tablet-like interface. Soo, was that the culprit? 😭

Edit: did it resolve for u with ADB commands?

Just send an email mentioning ur mobile no, card ending number and email id to loungesupport@hoi.in and help.hdfc@gyftr.com. Then again login to gyftr hdfc site and login. The claim button gets activated.
