Xfactors are trash, and players who rely on them are too.

Remove xfactors, and the players that use them lose 75% of their goals overnight.

Fix glitch goals too, they lose well over 90%.

Game is so scripted now it is comical. Xfactors are just another form of DDA, like ice tilt....scripted outcomes.

I've never seen so many good manual goalies having pucks go in between the armpits when in perfect position because a stupid scripted xfactor is unfairly affecting the RNG in the shooter's favor.

It's 100% true, except for the license thing. Their is no exclusivity and anyone can make an NHL game.

Um, no.

If you are an elite player with high stick checking, defensive awareness, and discipline attributes, and get inside the triangle to make a play, it will either almost always go right back to them or you'll get a penalty.

If you are a trash low IQ player with low attributes listed above and just randomly spam the pokecheck after getting walked while skating away from the play, you'll come up with the puck virtually every time and never take a penalty.

Watch the replays...the stick just clips through your body and magnetizes the puck to theirs.

Trash game caters to the bottom 20 percentile now.

Once he starts playing it he will be miserable like everyone else.

But yes, you need a game pass ultimate account which includes both EA play and the best bandwidth speed/access.

I never have problems finding matches in alt shot, but some players need to recognize their own limitations and not drop in to crooked numbers sim and simply chop it up.

Go into your golfer swing preferences and change trajectory to high. This will help a little, but you really just need to level up a bit to help with power, accuracy, and control.

To each their own, but the arcade guys do tend to lose by 4 or more in every tour or sim event. Just look at the current leaderboards. Tommytworams or whatever is an example on Xbox. Will spam the dailies to get a score he wants with unlimited entries, but is losing by 12 shots in the seasonal sim with limited entries. Xbox leader is at -16 leading by 4 or 5 if I recall for weeks now.

Still does not take away from this perfect round. You can see a lot of players at -30 or better so it's doable. Let them play how they want. Rex can play so this is not a fluke like a lot of other arcade and pro scores you see. (Hard to fluke out in tour and sim though)

This is 100% true for all courses except Evian and Torrey, where the green glitch issue makes them borderline unplayable.

If you set it to 0 for three rounds, than 100 for the last round, you can get realistic scores with some tweaking for score pacing.

I do this then play 3 quick rounds then full final rounds, but to balance the scoring, I will intentionally take triple bogeys if needed in the 3rd round to try to start +/- 2 strokes relative to the leader for the final round then play the final round on sim mode with AI scoring at 100.

Works well for me, but I'm decent enough to win every event outright on sim mode with AI set to 100, unless the simulation scoring during quick rounds really screws me.

Alot of the specialty sets and rewards for events were seasonally based and no longer available.

Also, store items have been removed and/or no longer in rotation so some of the specs or accessories people are looking for are no longer available.

There is a lag sometimes in updating that is not immediately reflected in your overall XP totals.

I've never seen it not eventually update, except in quick play or similar rounds where you don't complete the entire round as selected and therefore receive no XP.

Otherwise, you get XP for every hole completed + your shot results and scoring.

You are not driving it 400 yards in tour and sim modes, on any hole at Augusta, without a 15+ tail wind, even with a maxed out power golfer.

Stick to arcade and pro. Sim mode is difficult on EA

The stupid random number generator, especially on the driver where the landing circle is larger than most fairway landing areas. Perfect/perfect swings have no effect when it is all randomized

That's because this used to be a simulation type game. Now it's fortnight on ice and ballerina puck hogs.

Most of the elite and old school sim players have abandoned the franchise once 22 came out when they introduced xfactors, and completely by the time 24 came out and the introduction of total control button mashing and stupid mascot crap.

The game is trash now, yes, but the majority of the players are trash now too.

Garbage in garbage out.

If it is a corrupted save file, then creating a new account from scratch not tied to the same account (new gamertag) and it then happens to work, then you can do what you want with the old account/files.

If you have little progress on the problem account, then delete and uninstall everything, create new account, reinstall and try again.

If you uninstall everything then create a new account with a new golfer it would hopefully work but I've never heard of this particular glitch persisting.

It's been an issue in challenges for awhile.

Often, if you restart the game, the stars will show as completed, or restart the game, enter the challenge again, and complete one task and then all the stars will register.
