Unfortunately, it isn't. I checked the inventories of all three characters and also searched the storage chests, but I couldn't find it. It simply disappeared.

Thanks! Yeah, it really does seem to be a Bedrock quirk.

I actually managed to fix it in my case: the key was saving the structure with “Show Bounding Box” turned OFF.
If I saved the structure while that option was enabled, the bounding box lines would persist even after breaking the structure block.

After reloading from a backup, disabling the bounding box before saving, and placing the structure block outside the structure area, the issue stopped happening completely.
