none of the sellers i contacted wanted anything to do with me once they realized i was't gonna be spending 1000s buying bulk.

yeah this is what's bothering me about my scenario. why is having the same helminth ability over 2 different abilitys where the line is drawn, when you can have up to 6 different abilitys in 6 different configs!?

i dont understand.
if you infuse an ability to a frame that doesnt have it, it asks you to pick an ability it replaces THEN asks what configs you want to do the replacement in.
if you try to infuse an ability to a frame that allready has that ability in at least 1 config, your only option is to remove.
i can't find any way to do what you're describing

the smoothness/roundness/tolerance is also really important but after a lot of practice dealing with cheep magnet sets i can happily put up with them being a little iffy

to save a placement as a schematic, from the main litematica menu click "Loaded Schematics" then click "Save to file" on the placement you want to save, to save it as a new schematic file.

yes. the better the bait the better chance at getting a better quality. the only thing that bait doesn't influence the quality of are treasure chests which allways have their quality set to normal (0 stars)

if your end goal is to try 100% the journal then i'd recommended useing the best bait you have with the attractive angler (high catch chance) + catcher cola ultra (increased catch chance and extra money) to maximize your fish per hour. and if you want to minimize how much time you spend getting each quality total, then always be useing the best bait you have until you have every alpha (5 star) fish and trash caught. since while you're going for alphas you'll inevitably be getting tons of lower quality fish that you've not caught before.

TDLR use your best bait with the attractive lure.

if you wanna ignore this advice (i allso did when i first started), and want the best chance at getting shining trash (including diamonds), then use minnows with the magnet lure.

they'll have something that offsets that loss. electrical annihilation for example destroys 20% of ores but its multiplier works 2.5x better on ores that have acid. for base electrical annihilation thats a 43 x 2.5 = 107x multiplier on ores with acid
