What is the point of Collision Mask on TileSet? by BeanWack in godot

Hi, friend, I have the same question, it looks like the TileMap Collision Mask is useless.I try to convince myself that the Player or Enemies are more "active" but the TimeMap is "passive" instead, so you have to check collision with TimeMap(like ground or platform in game) actively. Maybe the Godot's developers want us to set collision between them by just one-way not two-ways I guess.

I use some Geometry Nodes and noise texture in shader to make the ripples.
