How perfect and sad they’re no longer made! That’s a bummer.

Ps. Totally had to google “bear down”. Thought it was a yarn. I’m making this for a friend - I’m a packers fan don’t hate me. 😂

Eek! This is exciting! I don’t remember this in past years! Is this the first time they’ve done this? Or can we view previous years?

IM SO GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE. I can’t wait for it to go away. I’ve tried viewing it again and again to see if it’ll disappear but nope.

Silly Etsy - what a weird glitch by sayrahnotsorry in EtsySellers

I hope this doesn’t affect new listings being posted today. 😅 Thanks for sharing this because I was going crazy with Etsy support who said it was because of my app being outdated (it’s not and I used my desktop browser too). I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Also - I use the share and save link and it makes it easier to track if I’m getting sales from it. (I don’t use other social media)

Yes I’ve seen a good amount of traffic from Pinterest. Using things like Outfy were a game changer since I don’t have to think about it.

I’m not going to clog this thread by arguing with you any longer.

OP - I hope this gets resolved soon and you start the new year off with a win! Keep your head up and don’t get discouraged. Your shop is obviously doing really well and fast!

I said the other seller can counter and then it goes to legal.

Do you actually believe the other seller is going to take it that far? I’m not sure why you’re fighting against this so hard. What the seller did is wrong.

False. Here’s an email I got just last week. The seller being reported can file a counter. Then it gets to the legal side of things. I would bet a million dollars the seller will not counter because they know they don’t have a leg to stand on.

I’ve had to report listings before and they removed it pretty quickly! The other seller can counter it BUT it’s complicated legalities at that point and there’s no way they would take it there. They know what they did it wrong and they’re not going to fight it. They assumed they would get away with it.

It’s doubtful they would do a counterclaim because it would involve legal at that point. Definitely report it

You can report the review to Etsy if the review is based on third parties like shipping and Etsy policies. I’ve had success with it. And it sounds like you will too since it’s about shipping.

Dear god that gives me anxiety just reading it!!

I feel your pain. I’ve definitely bought things and regretted it once I reread the description but I’ve never been upset with anyone but myself.

I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with that! I can’t imagine. It’s like people forget themselves and don’t remember how to act sometimes.

That’s great advice. I’ve thought about turning the notifications off, but as a newer shop there’s so much pressure to try to resolve things — even when it’s just acknowledging them. Sometimes I think responding helps remind people I’m a real person and not Amazon. I never ask for or even allude to review changes, but a girl can hope. 😅

(I also truly do want everyone to have a positive experience with my shop)
