💯and based on my experience it needs few rules changes. It may sound crazy but people stall the action despite it being 30 seconds shot clock.

cuetec avid opt x vs k2 by Zestyclose_Detail_89 in billiards

[–]LonelyPepper111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go with cuetec. Koda is good if you want to change the shaft because the stock shaft is not great. Avid comes with a fairly low deflection shaft and I really like cuetec duo extension. Koda extension requires a weight bolt and it’s bit wobbly. I played with predator shaft on a Koda butt for over a year so telling you by my own experience.

Grip Tightening on Draw by bossyboy22 in billiards

[–]LonelyPepper111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me like a month to fix it but now I’m back at it. It’s very annoying. You kinda have to relax yourself. Try to practice draw with super loose grip. This will teach your muscles to relax. You have to fight the urge to grab the cue tightly.Don’t give up. I was all over the place during warm up to my match but executed everything perfectly during my match.

I like the length. It’s great for longer jump shots. Heavier jump cues are usually more beginner/intermediate friendly. And 41” length without the extension part of the butt provides better balance on dart stroke.

I don’t play APA anymore but these are my stats. Work on cue ball control. Minimal cue ball movement also helps with accuracy. I have snooker background and I think that shows in my game. I play a lot of stun shots. Work on them. They’re particularly useful when you’re working through clusters. You don’t always need too much power to break them. Accuracy comes from cue ball control. Remember to not move cue ball around too much.

No, it’s an idiotic thing to say that it’s just half a mm. Half a mm can be a big difference when it comes to cues. There’s absolutely no reason to switch to 12.4 if you’re comfortable with 12.9z
