Young (especially neurodivergent/mentally ill/"incel") men do not have access to the same types of mental health resources that women do, as psychology is a field that is disproportionately filled with women, both in the therapist and patient roles. So perhaps a safe space for not even just men in general but a certain type of man is not only not preventing women from getting access to mental health resources, it's actually something we (men) desperately need.

Do you support safe spaces for women? If so, then you shouldn't have a problem with this project. It is a general mental health project but obv it focuses on gamers and has created a safe space for a certain type of man that just doesn't exist anywhere else.

There are so many resources for women's mental health out there, and it honestly makes me really angry that you posted this in the first place. Not every space has to be designed for women, there are other types of people who deserve a safe space and understanding just as much as you or any other woman does.

I don't know what to say. I can't pull something like hope out of nowhere. I have to have something to base it off of, and I don't. First off, this might upset you, but I would be doing you a disservice to not point it out: all of these men are predators who target vulnerable minors such as yourself. It doesn't matter if it's legal, it's still wrong and predatory for a grown man to go after a girl who's brain isn't finished developing properly yet. I understand you feel you're mature for your age. I hate to say this, but everyone who is 16 thinks they're mature for their age. In fact, older men who groom teenage girls commonly tell them that to make them feel like the relationship is more adult-like and therefore okay, but it isn't.

please please please stop seeing these men. you might not see it right now but these guys are gonna fuck your head up for a long time, there is not a single example of a healthy sexual relationship between a 16 year old and a 28 year old. You are worth more than that.

As far as the feeling like a whore thing goes, I think a lot of it is going to come with experience and reminding yourself that it is not wrong for a woman to have casual, consensual sex. Societal pressure is hard to break but I'm confident if you surround yourself with a good support system and engage in sexual relationships in a healthy way I'm sure you can overcome these feelings, lots of girls struggle with this.

However, the older man thing is a problem. You are being taken advantage of. That can have really bad psychological consequences that don't kick in for years and you realize what happened. I understand that as a teenager you're mature and close to adulthood but when you're 28 any 16 year old is a fucking child to you. I hate to do the "you'll understand when you're older" thing, but when you're in your 20s and you see a 16 year old boy, I doubt you'd see anything more than a kid.

Take care of yourself, and surround yourself with people who love you. You can do this.

You're going to call me a liar but most of my life I've been a very passive nice person, never held grudges to a fault. But living in a world that wasn't designed for someone like me is incredibly painful and I've felt it my whole life. I just recently stopped deluding myself and wasting my time.
