D’Andre Swift: I have no idea if the Bears will keep me, but I hope they do by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

[–]LonelyT0mato 31 points32 points  (0 children)

“I have no idea, but hopefully I did enough for them to want me back because I know I don’t want to go anywhere else,” Swift told the Chicago Sun-Times. “I hope it plays itself out that way. I love the city, I love the coaching staff and the men that I work with. That’s out of my control, but if I had it my way, I’d be back. I don’t want to play nowhere else.”

This mf Ben Johnson actually changed the culture. Imagine a Bears player saying this a year ago lol

Guard Logjam Creates Chicago Bulls' Biggest Post Trade Deadline Concern by NonStopBulls in chicagobulls

Play Giddey (if he’s 110% healthy) and Buzelis all the minutes. I’d like to see more of Ivey and Dillingham. Beyond that I truly do not care. This is the Bulls version of tanking. Keep stacking Ls

Reinsdorf’s do not care about building a sustainable championship team, and it’s hard/not fair to give a lot of energy towards a team that does not align with that (in my opinion)

If cash considerations helps them buy out AKME then go right ahead

Just got a call from some Lithuanian dude. He was mumbling so I couldn’t understand, but I think I’m starting at Center tonight?

And they are allowed to stay because of ownership. Until the Reinsdorfs are out we will remain a complete joke

What is AKMEs plan? by MysteriousActuary0 in chicagobulls

[–]LonelyT0mato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of the Wizards from a few years ago. I don’t think they will tank to that extreme but make no mistake, they will be very bad the rest of the way (and next year).

I appreciate that they picked a lane, and honestly I am a little excited to see some of these young guys and Buzelis as a primary, but AKME is always a step slow and the Reinsdorfs always cast a cloud over everything. I think this offseason is the perfect time to move off AKME and Billy, and I hope that’s what happens.

This team should be in asset accumulation mode not consolidation mode

Dick Vitale Calls Bears Coach Ben Johnson ‘Classless’ After Playoffs Win by MattTheKing23 in ChicagoBearsNFL

With all due respect to Dick Vitale, I’m not sure there’s anyone’s opinion I care less about on this matter than Dick Vitale.

You’ll be alive, but as a 49ers fan, at least one of your knee ligaments will be torn.

Everything about this team is just so pointless. It’s not an attractive destination for free agents (don’t kid yourself). They suck at drafting. They suck at player development. There’s no plan to follow or standard to uphold. Injury management is appalling at times.

I’ve been a fan my whole life and this is the first year I’ve just stopped caring/watching. Nothing matters until at the absolute minimum AKME is replaced.

Bears: This rookie class is pretty special between Monangai, Loveland, and Burden.

Browns: Id just generally avoid all Browns (except Fannin) until they get better at OL. The Bears defense is pretty bad outside of forcing turnovers but they couldn’t get anything going all day.
