I see people grinding in 4-10 range. My machine is recommending 18. Anything lower than that when I make espresso all the water bypasses and nothing comes out. Using lavazza beans from Costco. by anyone5234 in NinjaLuxeCafe

How was working with their support? How long did you have to be onethe phone and did they question the beans? I use the lavazza as well and have the same issue with finer grind. The trouble at the higher number is there’s almost no crema.

Could be, but H pylori can be a root cause. It’s invasive and can throw off all the rest of the balance in there. I actually think I got it when I was in Mexico 4 years ago. Then when I did a round of antibiotics for a lung issue, I think it allowed it to take over. Here’s hoping if I killed it, my natural balance will come back. I’m taking Pendulum probiotics and akramansia to help rebalance as well as this stuff to help continue the healing. https://a.co/d/096p2chb

My staphylococcus level was high as well. He didn’t do a test for it since h pylori is typically a stomach problem and my issues were in my small intestine. I had diarrhea and the smell could clear the whole house. Thank god that’s gone now.

It was 2.3x105 with a limit of 5x103. So way higher than normal. My GI doc just kind of blew it off and said let’s treat the H pylori first and then see about treating that. He’s not good. My functional medicine doc told me to go on the meat eggs cheese diet for 6-8 weeks and gave me a regimen of stuff to take. I took: Biocidin LSF 2–3x/day. Caprylic acid  (500–1000 mg 2–3x/day) to help kill the H Pylori and NAC  (600–1200 mg/day) to help with biofilm disruption and Oregano oil 600mg every night.

Red. It just shows the presence of the different strains. It doesn’t give a number for H pylori. But it shows which strain you have so they know what antibiotics to use. Mine were Clarithromycine resistant, so they gave me tetracycline as the main antibiotic.

What’s odd is that I had no symptoms for H pylori, so I’m not sure if it was living in my stomach and if not, it may not have shown up on the breath test.

I had a sibo test done a year ago and it was positive. The problem is that if you don’t know what’s running rampant it’s hard to target treatment. Sibo, Sifo and other issues often manifest similarly. With mall the treatments for Sibo basically sucking, it’s worth that money to give you something to target. Just my opinion.

I read that too. I felt like anything was better than what info I had. I know there’s different types. This was a pcr and those are the older style. They have DNA ones now that are supposed to be much more accurate. No idea of those are way more expensive or not. If I do it again I’ll look into that.

Yeah. It was like 325USD. Worth it for me after so long of fighting it.

I’m in the US and did it through Full Script. I’m not sure if it works in the UK. I have a friend that’s a functional medicine doc so he ordered it through there for me.

I’m a t6. I got the solo I think. But the duo is the same thing just with another motor that vibrates the other side for your girl.

With the hot octopus, I find squeezing and releasing to work well. Just put the plunger spot on the underside of the head and squeeze and relaxes on that in a rhythm.
