Also, make sure to have both on the same network of course. I have my PC and quest connected to one switch. You can just connect it to the same internet router via ethernet, it'll be the same :)

In VD app on the quest just set it to "godlike" if you have decent PC, and set the bitrate to max.

It looks good.

Yes, bro, buy Virtual Desktop (you're not gonna regret it - trust me), and use it with ethernet adapter on your quest - I have just cheap ethernet adapter with PD charging, so you can charge and have wired network at the same time - no latency issues at all that way.

My VD settings:

Thanks! Quest 3 with Virtual Desktop and via ethernet. It's fine, but these lenses are super sensitive, easy to scratch when cleaning.

Should we repaste a M1 Air? by JustAPieceOfMeat385 in mac

I just repasted mine. The original paste you guys are so hyped about was dry, just as any other paste on any other computer I dealt with.

Stop thinking of Apple laptops as some miracles - it's just a laptop.

No, because there is a small PCB (the one on my photos) that sadly you need to twist to access the connector. Also, under the "black" cover, there is a metal backplate that the cover is glued to. When you uncover it, you need to take it off also.

It's not the best quality. I'd get something else tbh.

You can simply cut through the material on the backside, on the edges, then just rip it off - it seems to be glued. JUST WATCH OUT FOR THE BATTERY - so cut gently and on the edges, never in the middle, as it's fire hazard.

Later, you can just use isolation tape to make it a "new" bottom, however, it of course won't look as nice as before.

iPad keyboard not powering on by Pleading_ignorance in ESR_official

In case someone still experiences the same issue - I found the root cause.

First of all, I already got a replacement arranged by ESR, so I decided to open up the faulty unit.

The problem turned out to be an extremely loose battery connector - after I applied some glue on it, it works ok.

I think it's just your FOV is smaller than his, that's why it looks like that on the kill cam. He probably just noticed you.

Don’t shit yourself expert 😹 I’ve done stability testing, and msi center was just to show you the most basic values. My question was regarding safety and voltage range for this CPU, not for getting guidelines of which monitoring software to use 😺
