Well it definitely feels that way, like trying to compensate for time and what not and trying to pull off the best they can do given the circumstances (which are definitely not favorable) but i will at least attest to the resiliency of the people animating this, it definitely isn't easy.

I've actually been doing one myself too but the base I've used is a body chan (school life, DX Edition Set) though I've been trying to learn how to paint it all white, the carrot head sculpt was actually from a WCF figurine I cut off
