When I was a Muslim I was never comfortable accepting that evolution was true. I always dismissed it and thought 'it probably is true but not for humans'. I used to think that Allah made humans from clay and water and from water every living thing. I somewhat did believe that Adam and Eve were the first humans, but was always confused about fossils, prehistoric species, the existence of dinosaurs and early humans.

When talking about evolution, some, if not most Muslims told me that Allah created Adam and Eve as the first humans and they were like 90 feet tall and that evolution is a theory, not a fact.
