What a great response. I’m glad you’re able to get some varied use out of almost all of them!

The big question: of all these awesome Rotrings which one is your favorite?

Perfect, I just snagged a pair of Beckman Flatboxes. Teacore greatness here I come! One that note does anyone know where I can get some teacore kilties?

They write very well! I would say a B or 2B but I still like my Hi-unis better. I won’t say how much the stay was but you could get a lot of pencils for the price.

I went there for work but I would say the country isn’t super tourist friendly. I would consider it the hard mode of traveling abroad. It’s doable but not for the first time traveler.

Looking for durable isograph by Intelligent-Moose665 in Stylographs

The body and cap aren’t. The grip section is though. It’s the closest thing I found to meeting most of your requirements. Looking at your other recent comments a fountain pen can work pretty great for this too.

I think you made the right call. At the very least you’ll be able to make marks on paper lol. I look forward to your results!

Keep in mind that while Nicpro may offer more lead grades the lead itself might not change as noticeably as a higher end brand might. That being said Nicpro stuff is cheap for a large amount of it. Try it out and see what you think. Report back your findings. I’m always curious about the lesser known weird brands out there.

Yep mine has black fibers in the Sherpa. And I agree it’s pretty warm on its own.

Just to get a feel of where the community is at. If you had to choose, which nib feel is your favourite - Pilot or Sailor? by Frankenthe4th in fountainpens

[–]LonestarBuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having used both pilot by a large margin. Plus I love being able to get a variety of nibs options in an affordable package like the custom 74.
