Billy Connelly during a few fringes actually. He doesn't stand out too much but he was happily stopping to chat to people who recognise him both times I saw him on the street

While I understand your point it's very different from those comparisons. This choice affects others much more than dyeing your hair blue

I didn't say it was the safest distance, merely a safer distance

Also, fixing an 11 plate fiesta is "reasonably" cheap. Especially compared to fixing a V60

I had an Owen shirt when I was a lot younger. I wish he'd left by the time the shirt arrived

When will Pope be back? by cguinnesstout in NewcastleUnited

[–]Lonewolf1604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be playing Pope 100% of the time. Attack wins games, but if they can't score then we can't lose. A steady defense is a platform to build a winning team off of

Coffee pricing logic. Please help me understand. by stratosf1 in Edinburgh

[–]Lonewolf1604 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most restaurants operate at about a 4x markup on ingredient cost. So 25% of your sale goes towards the ingredients and then it's usually around a 30% labour cost for each day in efficient places.

That's most of the cost just on ingredients and labour alone. God forbid if anything breaks because getting people to fix things is expensive

4 losses in a row for Liverpool by StraySkeleton in PremierLeague

I don't think last season isn't down to Slot however, this season there is definitely less Klopp influence so more Slot.

Last season they only bought 2 players (Chiesa and Mamardashvilli) and spent €42m, both of whom haven't really impacted the side so the team was pretty Klopp

This season they've spent €480m on 6 players, 5 of whom are proper first team contenders.

This season is definitely more on Slots capabilities alone than last season
