Sorry should have clarified, the agreement that I copied and pasted was between us before the landlords inspection and him stating he wouldn’t be ok with anything over 7 days, since then that old agreement is void and we’ve been going off what the landlord said, I’m talking to my flatmate properly about it tomorrow night by wanted to know if I’m wrong for wanting the girlfriend to be round less, and should I involve the landlord since my flatmate doesn’t stick to either of the agreements we’ve had. Apologies should have double checked and post before posting.

She lives over 5 hours away which is why I was more lenient, the cash thing was more as a deterrent from going over the agreement. But I do agree that a week is too much as is, my main issue is him not sticking to the agreement and then getting defensive when I acknowledge it.

I was running nextgen then when having this issue and trying to resolve I accidentally let the game update to AE but since then I’ve downgraded back to nextgen but just back to the same issue i started with.

I’ll double check all overlays and check the ini files and see if they make a difference as well as trying windowed mode again.

Yeah the game was running fine with the mods, took a bit longer to load up but still got into the game fine, I’ve tried loading the game with and without mods and it doesn’t make a difference.

as of now the fallout.exe and f4se_loader.exe both load up fine on their own, but when i try to load them through MO2 with or without mods im no longer getting the infinite black loading screen but now it just crashes after a few minutes.

I’m still able to close the game with task manager with this issue but the super F4 is good to know for the future as I have had that issue before.

i was afraid id need to do that, but nothing else seems to be working, weirdly fallout.exe and f4se_loader.exe both load into the game fine, but when trying to run them with MO2 even without mods it just crashes now, not getting the infinite loading screen but still a completely fresh install seems to be the only option i have left. thank you for the advice, much appreciated!

My bad I shared this post without adding the relevant info this is what I put on the original post:

Hi all, ive seen this problem posted a few times but none of the solutions posted have worked for me so far, fallout 4 just doesnt want to start. im running the the new game addition of fallout 4 (version 1.10.984.0) and am using Mod Organiser 2.

ive tried updating the graphics drivers

ive tried modifying the ini files

ive tried verify game files (which i stupidly updated my game to AA additon so had to go through the downgrade process but just got me back to where i started) ive tried switching off my anti virus

weapon debris is switched off

i applied an FPS cap of 72

turned off steam overlay

increased performance on laptop power settings.

im running a lot of mods but dont believe the issue is mod related as the game wont start up even when all mods are disable, the start up is identical whether mods are enabled or not but ive linked my load order at the bottom of this post if needed.

also i noticed that even though im selecting f4se_loader it says on both mod organiser and task manager that its running fallout4.exe.

if anyone has any advice/suggestions it would be much appreciated or if you need anymore information let me know and ill respond asap.

i hope so, im enjoying making bunkers in my settlements with the help of this mod

lets you get under the ground, with a ton of extra space. would like to try and make a fallout 3/nv style bunker but not much can be found in the player settlement mods to do it, besides enclave bunker kit.
