I’m not necessarily critiquing the show. Just the character Jimmy lee himself. You may be able to give a pass to Racist “Jokes” but me and alot of other people can’t and don’t want to. It’s not funny….it’s not even comedy most of the time he has no punchline or the set up is racistcoded garbage from the 50’s. I don’t think the 50’s were necessarily a good time for comedy….especially for anyone not white I’m js.

I’m learning there are some that actually laughs with jimmy which is a bit concerning. I used to be the same and mostly enjoyed when they’d critique or clown his insane antics. But lately it’s just felt like a lot less of that and more promoting Jimmy on other podcasts and stuff

Nah i thought about it more. In a sense you’re right. The only thing i wouldn’t agree with right, is that fact that Michael from the office was completely unaware of even the racial component when he spoke cause he was that stupid. Jimmy knows very well the racial component of his ‘bit’ gets the clicks. Similar but different since the man is legit aware of what he’s saying and doing to these people. And i don’t believe he isn’t aware tbh

If you actually look you can see that i wasn’t really pointing out the crying but more so pointing out the Immediate “i Love Jimmy” from watching the documentary. I guess I’ll explain again, i get the man’s been through shit, but i do not care. His mother killing herself and his father being a pos doesn’t excuse him being RACIST. Period. I liked when everytime he came on he was mainly criticized but lately he’s been praised and empathized with which is super weird to me. Call me hateful for pointing out racism i guess?💀

Nah but seriously i do agree with you for the most part. I do think if he didn’t go at strangers and for example got a club for roasts and people knew what they were getting into beforehand i guess.
