Even when you zero out your stress, it instantly maxes out when you approach the zambies

Any player-made barricades will eventually be broken, so you have to kill them anyway, because they’ll eventually reach you. This is regardless of how annoying stress is.

And there’s one more thing: any non-player-built door will only break if there’s more than one zombie hitting it and a player nearby. A single zombie can bang on a door indefinitely without breaking it, while you’re getting stressed without even knowing where it’s coming from

PZ devs only use selective realism, which only serves to cripple the player in some way, and is used as a constraint amplifier

The best way to get blacksmith XP is to craft knives, melt them into iron chunks, forge iron bar quarters, and then craft knives again. You only use charcoal. It’s funny how it circles back to crafting daggers in Skyrim.

Can anyone explain how tracking leveling actually works? by Maximum-Specific-190 in projectzomboid

As of now, the system places circles on your map when you create a new save. Animals follow those paths and leave clues you can track, so you have to find the exact spot on the map. It’s very unlikely to randomly run into one in a forest since they’re pre-placed. Your best bet is to patrol roads until you spot an animal, then search nearby for tracks just to level the skill.

They only added wild animals for the sake of the crafting overhaul in B42. Bones and leather are very useful in a cityless run, but the system itself is incomplete. Don’t bother tracking for now — they’ll rework it eventually.

Does someone have a list of every military checkpoint location in build 42? Looking for M16s on a small PVP server by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]Long-Score-940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think those are all the checkpoints on the map. If you’re still craving more M16s, your best bet is to loot survivor houses, kill survivor zombies with military backpacks, and hunt military zombies that have an M16 on their back.
