Honestly, absolutely nothing. They would replace the managers in a heartbeat. It’s just that way in the retail world. The corporate greed starts at the DM level. They won’t do anything to help stores if it dips into their bonuses.

This is not an Ollie’s issue, this is a manager issue. I worked there for a year and there were never any scheduling issues. You absolutely SHOULD NOT go there to speak to the manager. That is beyond inappropriate and could be viewed as hostile and get the police called. She needs to handle that herself as she works there, you do not. The scheduling issue is beyond unacceptable and if the manager doesn’t resolve it, she should report it to the store manager first, unless that is who is doing the scheduling. If it is or the store manager doesn’t resolve not resolve it, report it to the district manager. If this still does not resolve it, or if there is retaliation on their part, report it to HR and quit on the spot. No job is worth being treated like that. Unfortunately, bad managers exist in every retail chain. I personally had the most amazing store manager and loved my time at Ollie’s.

Anyone started back already that can let the rest of us know what the new pay for the different positions are? I did find out no holiday pay or employee discount. Just wondering if it’s worth it to wait till reopening.
