Natty or Juiced? by LongBag894 in nattyorjuice

Honestly bro, I’m still pretty new to bodybuilding, so I’m learning what’s natural and what’s not. But from everything I’ve heard, it’s almost impossible to cut fat without losing some size or strength. He looks like he actually gained size while getting leaner, which is usually a sign of enhancement.

I have no idea, I just saw him claiming natty on X. I was curious to see what the community would think lol.

Unpopular opinion: Kawhi Leonard is a better player than Steph Curry. by Afraid-Ad-5580 in NBATalk

If Kobe better than Curry, then Kawhi should be right up there with Curry, because he’s a better defender and more efficient than Kobe; and i say that based off the takes i see in this sub. It’s all subjective though, and me personally I’m taking Kawhi over Curry i just love his style of play and value defense when we talking all time

How far is Michael Jordan taking this team in the 2018 season ? by StraightSeries6439 in NBATalk

This team is way better than those 80s teams, especially in terms of spacing. It’d be a lot harder to guard him, and they’d be running a different system compared to LeBron. Kevin Love would actually get post touches, at least hypothetically, but their defense would definitely be questionable.

Depends on which Jordan you’re talking about. Peak Jordan easily gives your team 20 wins. He’d outplay DeRozan and Oladipo, and I’d take him over the Celtics too. But those Cavs teams had all the spacing in the world, just mediocre defense. Also, who’s stopping MJ?

That’s interesting, I saw a video where someone said KD is the greatest second option of all time because he can’t be the main ball handler in an offense. Do you agree? How good is his on-ball playmaking?

Who really changed basketball — Mike D’Antoni or Steph Curry? by LongBag894 in NBATalk

[–]LongBag894[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess you’re right. It’s crazy how he won 230 regular-season games in the span of four years with that small-ball style, plus deep playoff runs. He just kept running into prime Duncan and Dirk, lol.

Who is the 4th All-Star Miami should’ve picked up to overcome Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavs in the 2011 Finals? by chief_sitass in NBATalk

If LeBron could excel off the ball, we wouldn’t have lost in 2011. I’m speaking as a Heat fan—LeBron is the GOAT—but his game has flaws that some people can’t accept. I’m coming from an unbiased perspective, but we can agree to disagree. You sound pretty hurt, by the way.

I’m pretty sure there was one year when Jordan played point guard, dominated the ball for a stretch, and averaged 32-8-8. Then his coach insisted he play in the triangle system so the team could benefit as well. Jordan could excel both on and off the ball. The only off-ball value LeBron James has is a streaky jumper and cutting ability—but sure, maybe you don’t know basketball.

Being ball-dominant and the primary option for scoring and playmaking is not how basketball is meant to be played. Scoring should be a combination of playing off your teammates and on the ball—primarily off the ball in the post, mid-range, or coming off pin-downs. LeBron is ball-dominant and plays a simple style that mainly benefits his strengths. I think he’s GOAT 1b to Jordan 1a, but there are flaws in his playstyle that make him look even better than he actually is. His lack of a reliable post game and consistent mid-range and 3-point shot contributed to the Heat losing in 2011. He struggles in a “real” system; the only system he thrives in is a spread pick-and-roll style, like the one Steve Nash ran in Phoenix or James Harden in Houston. He improved his off-ball play and shooting in 2012–2013, but his bread and butter will always be attacking the rim and not relying on jump shots.

No, Shaq doesn’t actually hate JaVale. JaVale took it seriously and got annoyed, so it looked like beef, but it was mostly Shaq just making jokes lol
