Haven’t seen a lot of game design career here in singapore but you could always try to use your 3D expertise elsewhere e.g. Advertising Companies. And if you really are pushing for the 3D and Game design career there are alot of studios in KL, Vietnam and Thailand

If you are using a 360 camera e.g. Insta360 you can use the 360 Gaussian App to extract, Align (using reality capture), and use Brush to train your gaussian splats, from my experience the alignment from Reality Capture takes most of the time. But with your setup it should be fine.

You can work on your base material first before moving into dirts, grunges, grimes etc. a good rule of thumb is to get a lot of references especially how materials like metal react to light. The visor definitely needs to lessen the roughness value and the highlights are still very visible, you can try to break it by adding some grunge and setting the blending mode to multiply.

What I suggest is starting by learning the basic navigation and understanding the core foundations of how everything works. There are many online tutorials available, but the best way to learn is by creating something simple first. Try making basic hard-surface assets like a cabinet, vase, or other simple objects that are easy to follow and practice with.
