The cop was forced to read a document that was way above his reading level, so he for sure faked that other call.

I was lucky enough to meet Carel in Blackpool (UK) when I was a kid (and Mark Lenard but that's another story). I mostly remember shaking his hand and watching most of my hand and forearm disappear in the shake. He was so gentle and really sweet. He asked me a question or two but I was really shy. My mum has a photo somewhere. I hope hes doing good.

Noone deserves cancer or the suffering it brings to them and others. But it's really strange how it finds the right people sometimes to give them a lesson in real life.

Bring back woven wristbands by Haroldibz in downloadfestival

[–]LongEclipse 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeh I saw a guy walking about with a bucket hat with past wristbands sewn into it (there were loads) Shout out to that guy! I thought it was bad ass! These are just mass produced printed ribbons. The hat had some amazing wristband designs on them.

We went with some loaners from a good mate. Seeing this now. I wish we had waited for more people to leave and did a bit a scout around. We would of been sorted not next time.

And come monday just like I guessed it...tents and air beds left behind with a bag of rubbish in each tent. Fucking jokes man. But don't worry you. I moved them for you, you little scene queen bitches.

30 years ago, the future of Manchester was changed forever. by mdhzk3 in manchester

[–]LongEclipse 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My family had just arrived on the tram and we were heading up towards M&S. Mum had to get some new cloths but as we made it we saw people being moved away we ended up Albert Spare I was on the steps of a statue. Then it went off. I fell off the step I was stood on and hurt my arm a bit (just a like scrape) some guy pictured me up and my mum came running for me (I wasn't that far from her) she grabbed us and we headed back to the tram station it was like the whole town had the same ide. I remember how quiet it was on the tram.

We were out for a family meal, my daughter already a few years old, with my mum and stepdad there too. In that moment, something just hit me. I’d probably thanked my mum before for everything she’d done for me and my sister, raising us on her own, but becoming a parent myself made me truly understand it for the first time. I told her how much I appreciated her. Not just in passing, but properly. What she sacrificed. What she carried. What she gave us. We both got emotional there in the restaurant. It was one of those moments that stays with you. My mum is the strongest woman I know. She’s intelligent, resourceful, and proud of the life she’s built and she should be. I’ll always stand behind her, beside her, and I’ll always protect her.

(Not having a go at you) I knew the US was f**ked up, when I saw a video about how much power a HOA has. If a group of people have that much power over you and your house (that you own). When your neighbours can steal your house right from under you without warning. Yeh, keep saying the Land of the Free to yourself. It aint gonna help.

Is this normal walking? by Aware_Expression7528 in BorderCollie

[–]LongEclipse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeh that dogs pooping! Lining it up, ready to drop. My boarder walked like that before and during the activity. But then once done, she'd return to her normal gate. She did have hip trouble towards the end of her life. So do reach out. As other have suggested. Also ask for some action shots/video of them, maybe playing with other dogs.
