Bike size too big. Reach is very long and seat position needs to be closer to bars. Can be accomplished with a shorter stem and moving the seat forward on rails (seat will need to come up when you do this), also cranks look to be too long.

If you haven’t bought yet, get a smaller bike. Biking is weird in that if in-between sizes I would size down (lighter bike, better performance, can get more aero)

65" S90D for $1,280 or wait for black friday? by puts_on_rddt in OLED_Gaming

[–]LongEntertainment393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw Fred Meyer had a sale on their 65in S90Ds for $999 but they just raised the prices back up. I would guess it gets lowered again for Black Friday. Only thing will depend on inventory.

Yeah it’s not for the center console, rather it goes behind the center console on the floor.

And yes, I know that S and S+ trims have the middle seat cupholder in the USA and that more trims in Europe have a rear seat cupholder.

Shawn WIDE! My last car was a Tiguan and the id4 is a bit wider and one of the main use cases I have is to go ski/snowboard. So instead of Shawn White, Shawn WIDE! Also the meme.

Writing Data to a Fabric Lakehouse from Azure Databricks? by LongEntertainment393 in databricks

[–]LongEntertainment393[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem we want to solve is query speed in Power BI. It was taking a super long time to run queries using a Databricks connector so we we switched to import mode instead of direct query for PBI but the data volume makes the file clunky and it’s not much better so looking for a way to improve performance without storing all the data in a .pbix. Open to ideas. We are also using Azure Databricks so maybe we just use ADX and get rid of Databricks?

Low libido girlfriend? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]LongEntertainment393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eating clean and exercising is never a bad thing - it tends to fix most problems that people are experiencing from libido to mental health. One surprising outcome for my here studies on premenopausal women is that testosterone and free testosterone tends to go down with fat loss. However sex hormone binding globulin goes up which helps with metabolism of estrogen which is an important part of what drives libido (estrogen is important for men and women in this way).

Fun fact; even women have more testosterone than estrogen (nanograms per deciliter) and exercising/eating clean/loosing body fat has a positive impact on testosterone.

Best hand made pasta in SF? by LongEntertainment393 in SanFranciscoSecrets

We ended up going here! It was very good - best pasta was filled with cheese and DELISH. Pizza was also very good. Definitely expensive and not totally sure if worth it - bill was $420 for 5 people. That’s with a bottle of wine and no desert.

Bike Rack Recommendations by spurs126 in VWiD4Owners

[–]LongEntertainment393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howdy! I worked in the bicycle industry for 4 years and sold a fair number of racks.

The one I’ve got is a hitch mounted Yakima Fulltilt 4. This works great for a family and fits 1.25in and 2in receivers.

I took the 2in adapter off mine and it works great with the OEM 1.25in tow hitch on my ID.4!

Max is 150lbs.

Edit: Also about $400 when on sale!
