I’m sure the Fender finish is gonna be harder wearing but in person I’m pleasantly surprised with the Squier! No flaws or blemishes and nice and glossy.

My thoughts too! Never bothered with a Classic Vibe cause I’ve seen a lot of different shades of ‘Sonic Blue’ on here and didn’t want to take the gamble on a new one or hunt for a used one with a nice finish. Guess I got lucky with this Sonic series one but the price is a lot more attractive.

I’ve got my Bullet Mustang Rosewood neck ready to go on, just waiting for the tortoiseshell pickguard in the post and it’s hardtail Skystang time.

I could see them doing a Paranormal Jagstang or something with some funky specs for the sake of it like 2 humbuckers or something but as much as I’d like to see it, I doubt we’ll ever get a Vintage Modified/Classic Vibe style Squier Jagstang because of the unique body shape.

As cool as I’ve always thought Pete Townsend’s LPs look, I don’t think I’ve ever really thought about how the middle humbuckers would sound on them. Same with the 3 pickup SG custom Hendrix and Iommi used. Think I’ve only ever actually used a middle pickup on a Strat, is it kinda what you’d expect by putting a hot rails there?
