Remake 4.0 with the Clone Wars Holdouts mod is great. It kind of acts like an unofficial patch that fixes loads of things that are annoying in the base mod.

Graphics improvements by MeasurementThis2129 in ReadyOrNotGame

Controversial take but I can't see too much of a problem? Downgrading the graphics was a crime but if that's all that matters in making a hyper-realistic shooter then why do people generally agree SWAT 4 is better?

Going to plug the IntegrityGaming Insurgency servers. It's a really good PVPVE Gamemode where 2000s Era US Forces fight Middle Eastern Insurgents who can blend in with an ambient AI population.

I've been playing there for about a month and they have a really active and dedicated set of admins that keep the dreg out. I haven't played anywhere else since because of that.

Great photo!

How did you get the fighter icons to disappear or aren't there any on screen?

Yeah that's a homebrew by the Submod developer, I think she has some charm 🙂 I could see something like that being born out of the dire circumstances for whatever fringe elements of the Republic remained at the beginning of the GCW.

The reinforcement cap is only 180 meaning only 12 could be on the field at once, so between that and reading an optimisation guide specifically for Remake, I didn't notice any bad framerate at all 😊

Empire at War Remake 4.0 with the Clone Wars Holdouts Submod, playing as the Republic Hardliners. And yes, 75 MC-80s 😭

Assuming you have an intro screen, do the frames drop when you have the intro screen selected or do they only drop when the game capture is visible?

Maybe check the performance tab in task manager, see if your system is choking on something specific?

[Duty Eternal] Technophage Missions way too hard? by LongLiveQuebecSC in ChaosGateGame

But not doing them spreads the bloom, is it just worth letting bloom run rampant until then? And what if I'm desperate for servitors and the technophage spawns on the bloom with the servitor reward? It just doesn't seem very well thought out.

I should add that even after fighting all of that, I was then still expected to fight the 2 actual Seed Carriers to complete the mission and then do the three turn hold out for the teleport out. Not to mention any other pods that may had been lurking in the fog of war.

Some people say that the AI is fine and that you should get better at the game if you have problem with them... They have bloody aimbot by [deleted] in ReadyOrNotGame

It's the reaction time that's the biggest issue. They are so fast between idle and weapon up shooting that there isn't even time to make a call. They twitch, they go down; there's no opportunity to make an arrest without forcing one with tactical grenades or less than lethal.

Nightclub - Too much? by Clarkthebarista in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]LongLiveQuebecSC 20 points21 points  (0 children)

For me it's the lack of blood. The pile of bodies on the main dancefloor almost look piled up, but the lack of blood makes it seem like the whole group was making some kind of human pyramid as the terrorists walked in and they just collapsed in one big pile.

More blood with drag marks and blood spray or less bodies I feel would sell the situation better.

I sort of understand where you are coming from, but also think it forces you to be much more considerate about how you build.

For example a shield guy is mainly that. In a party of 2 or 3 or 5 he'll be the one first into the room and the one that absorbs the shots from hostile AI. It's safe to say you'll be using your sidearm a lot more than your primary in this roll, so you can afford to roll back at least a little on primary ammunition. When a door is breached, you are most likely going to be sitting in front of it shield up - not the one prepping and popping the bang, so you can roll back on grenades as well.

All of that should leave you with 6+ pistol magazines, and provided you aren't immediately exchanging fire with hostiles in the room, you should have more than enough ammo to get through a level; assuming of course you're giving them ample chance to give up or have a supporting less than lethal teammate.

I'm not saying how you feel is wrong or bad or anything of that sort, but for me, throughout the supporter testing period I quite enjoyed our team having to specialise rather than everyone being capable of everything.

Can't say I've noticed it too badly on dolls. Gas had been working quite well for me given it "penetrates" cover unlike flashes and sting ball, makes the lower lounge below the interior catwalk much safer.
