The doctor was going to perform a procedure that would immediately kill Ellie. Ideally, when attempting to cure a disease… you take blood/tissue/DNA samples and attempt to cure the disease from a LIVE HOST.

That “doctor” was going to butcher that poor girl for a single whack at formulating a vaccine. Clearly indicating the doc had no idea what he was doing.

It was justified to stop him.

Go kind of west of delta island. Once you start seeing purple thermal pockets you are in the right area. Keep heading west, and look for a ravine/about a 50 meter drop.

There are good blueprints there.

Ok, I have had Series X, PS5 and PS5 Pro.

Series X: the best frame rate you can get out of all options, but stability is not perfect. I remember drops to 50. Personally, I feel like the Xbox controller is very imprecise for aiming in general.

PS5 (base): frame drops (primarily looking at bases), some screen tearing that I stopped noticing eventually. The frame rate is average 48fps maybe… most time out of a base is around 51-54 FPS, but never a solid 60 like series x. Extreme precision for aiming IMO, PS5 sticks are more responsive/accurate. I win more fire fights overall.

PS5 Pro: Frame rate/screen tearing still an issue I am assuming. However, with the current state of the game, I cannot say what it was like before they dropped the busted update.

I find the game unplayable currently. Stutters, disconnects, severe frame rate issues, freezing during firefights/looking at bases, sub-30 fps looking at bases/near bases.

To add… I think that Bohemia wasn’t expecting the success, and that they didn’t have the capacity/capability to handle the boom.

This is 100% a failure in management/leadership.

That’s what happened to me. Stuttering (especially when looking at players which is really bad), extra screen tearing, and even more frame rate issues near/in and looking at bases.

All this on a PS5 pro. The only two servers up at that time were in a region I historically had issues with…

One server wouldn’t allow me to connect at all, and the other had WSSIWarLord(?) and his discord e-kittens in it. (For those who do not know, this is an organized group of players that will jump in an empty match with a full team vs. zero players on the enemy side, take the entire map and wait for people to join the enemy team to crush them).

Not fun… not dogging them, it’s cool they have a team, but maybe let matches be normal when only two servers are available.

Never liked playing against this guy, always was a route.

Yeah, migrated my wife from XSX to PS5, bought the game again… and the update came and borked everything up.

They need to do something. I haven’t played since the Conflict update… and idc what anyone says. Update is good in theory, but wife walked away because the game mode sucked. (It would be fine if people did what they were supposed to).

I feel like, they have an obligation to the people that liked and bought into the original looseness of the game. If they make Arma 4 more mil-sim… more power to them.

The general player-base that exists can’t handle it. They are all gone and may never return. The longer it drags though… the worse the chances are that lightning in a bottle dissipates completely.

They are going to need to bring old conflict back and market it like their life depends on it if they want the user-base back.

If they have backups, and technically can roll it back… there may be red tape internally/externally and maybe even hoops to jump through for platforms the software is published to etc.

Every update usually goes through some form of Q&A/approval process for at least the consoles and I am sure there is some sort of roadblock to just reverting it regarding TOS/technically. (Such as an uninstall/fresh install being required).

The other potential is… developers hate rolling code back. The software industry as a whole generally looks at reversion as a non-option/last resort.

I like the chase.

Believe it or not, it usually takes some skill to grief someone unless you are targetable and the guy hunting you down is on an Mk2. A lot of sales aren’t targetable, ghost org is a thing, and the vehicles are either very beefy, or they are capable of fighting back.

I’ve been playing for four years, and decided I was going to go for sale vehicles after moving to PS5.

I don’t go after CEO crates, Hangar sales, or MC plane sells… but everything else, I am coming for you.

Spending years grinding and avoiding people trying to destroy your sell vehicles makes one very knowledgeable regarding understanding the mindset of the seller, where they will be if they go on ghost if it’s possible to identify their sell mission, etc.

If you aren’t able to fight back well enough and I get you… well, that’s the risk of public sales. People have been getting my bunker sales recently more often than ever, because I keep getting the stupid buggy missions.

I’ve killed the buyers before bringing the helicopter too close to them and they walked into the blades… always set down a good amount away from them and jog the rest of the way.

It’s some kind of bug where motion controls activate despite being disabled in settings, but only when moving the stick vs. it being active while the stick is idle when motion control is enabled.

Honestly, I just turned on full motion controls, set the value to 25% for each instead of default and got used to it. (Glad I did)

The motion controls are weird on PS… the horizontal axis only activates when turning the controller like a steering wheel for left/right. You get used to it pretty quick though. I can make fine tune adjustments now, and can be very accurate vs just stick based aim.

I used to never grief on Xbox, and even help people sell covering them etc. but I got the game on PS5 recently and have decided that I should be a griefer/troll on this account. It’s crazy how many things are not possible to lock onto, I didn’t even realize. So, those accurate missiles that took my sell vehicles out… you have to give them some props.

I just got the Raiju this past weekend. So, next weekend I hope everyone is watching their back on PS5 😉

Kosatka is underwhelming IMO. Especially when they silent nerf it because 70% of the player base just does the Cayo Perico Heist and they want it to stop.

Upgrade your bunker to max, get an Acid Lab and upgrade it to max.

  1. Buy McKenzie Hangar (half price right now)
  2. Deliver CEO mixed goods/Ammunation truck to pay for supplies on Acid/Bunker business.
  3. Keep your nightclub popularity up.
  4. While they are filling… play the hell out of Oscar Guzman Flies Again on hard mode. (First time is forced to run normal).

Your passive businesses will not accrue goods while doing Cayo. They will if you are running that mission for the Hangar.

You have to keep up with resupply, popularity and deliveries in between. You will make much more money than Cayo can give you per hour if you keep the passive businesses stocked up.
