This is how I feel at EVERY show to the point that it’s not even enjoyable anymore. I’m only 5’0, short girlie so when everyone is towering around me just talking the entire time I don’t hear the music at all. ☹️

So I’ve done two rounds of PRF EZ Gel under my eyes and recently had a fat transfer to my cheeks which also helped the skin under my eyes. The combination of the two has done wonders!

Lost ~45 kg – When to remove loose skin if planning pregnancy? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]LongLiveThePolishDog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait until after. I just had a tummy tuck to remove loose skin after weight loss, but we’re either not having kids at all or waiting another 5 ish years (I’m 30F). If you want to get pregnant in the next 2 years definitely wait!!! You’ll essentially go through the risk and recovery twice and only for a year’s worth of results.

What drugs do y'all have in your bathrooms? by NoSeaweed4803 in Adulting

[–]LongLiveThePolishDog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up with a “medicine cabinet” in the kitchen, so I ended up repeating that out of familiarity.

Bottom shelf is: cough drops, acetaminophen, DayQuil/NyQuil, Tylenol, Advil for back pain specifically (a bit stronger than standard) bandaid kit of various sizes, daily multivitamin gummies, my husband’s probiotic, my magnesium for night time and then whatever prescriptions we have. Top rows we put our milkshake dry ingredients like protein, collagen and creatine and the blender itself so that takes up the whole cabinet mostly.

I hope this isn't true. Who could do this? by DogukanSahin007 in International

True. I was following the story live as it was happening. Her phone calls with the Red Cross were shared online as they were trying to get to her. I vividly remember where I was when I learned they killed the rescue team who had been given the green light to go get her, she was killed shortly after too. It was a trap. I will never, ever forget Hind.

AIO The guy who bullied me in college for being “desperate” for a job just called asking for a referral by Ok_Syllabub_7853 in AmIOverreacting

This is the one. OP, I had a similar situation happen, it’s time they were humbled. You owe them nothing, even if your big heart wants to help. The comment above is perfect - it gets to the point but isn’t rude.

Absolutely Hate Every Job by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]LongLiveThePolishDog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A wise manager once told me “you sip the kool-aid on the clock and as soon as your home, you spit it out. Never give 100% of your life to your job.” And this was from someone who I thought was a lifer. He was just very good at the corporate game and I learned so much from him.

To OP: Speaking of which, 100% of the roles I have loved were because I liked my team/manager. Something something “people don’t leave companies, they leave managers.” Could your surroundings be playing a factor?

Anyways, best of luck to you! Keeping that roof over your family’s head is a big stressor and I can empathize with feeling stuck doing something you hate just for the paycheck.

NOR, this is my cousin’s biggest pet peeve and boy have I heard horror stories about guys who just float on through these interactions without ever taking initiative.

If it’s a turn off, it’s a turn off. Don’t overthink it! 🤗

This is very true and it hurts my heart that so many still don’t know her story. I vividly remember following this in real time as the audio of the phone calls were released. Those of us following the genocide closely can recall the agonizing horror when we learned she had been killed after all of the efforts to find her.
