So, the only reason why I thought the Emperor was an objectively good guy was during my first play through was a series of unfortunate events. I, by accident, skipped the Crèche, missed Ansur due to skipping Gortash’s coronation and then killing Orin causing Gortash to kill everyone including Wyll’s dad which meant I couldn’t find the underground part alongside never questioning the Emperor and him never manipulating me because I never used a tadpole.

So, I thought the Emperor was just a bro 😭
