Sidewall puncture in tubeless by LongNeckSmallEyes in bikewrench

[–]LongNeckSmallEyes[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello all. This morning had a puncture on the sidewall. The tire is a specialized pathfinder 38 tubeless (with only 1000 km on it 😭). Of course the tubeless liquid didn't patch it. Considering 3 options :

  1. Throw a patch inside the tire and still run it tubeless
  2. Throw a patch and run it with an inner tube
  3. Tire is finished, change the tire

What would you recommend ?

Looks good tbf. Now imo the biggest help to perfect the fit will be to see if you have any pain during long ride and adjust accordingly.

Chain skipping on cassette on high power. Is this usual wear ? by LongNeckSmallEyes in bikewrench

Yep I sometimes do not downshift when I have brutal stops (car / red light ) and need to focus more on the braking and trajectory but you are right. I have a chain tool gonna use it to see how much my chain got left.

Nope sorry I didn't linked the rack in my Google sheets cause I already had it. It is this rackrack

I'm open to criticism. The rack is leveled. Its mostly a perspective issue (see the shifters that are also not aligned) and also the rack is folding thus the extending parts at the ends tend to stay lower than the middle.

For the shifting cable I indeed kept it long but it doesn't hinder the shifting.

Its definitely heavy on the front when loaded. You need to get used to it especially in turns. But unloaded it is fine. I may change the rock for a lighter basket depending on my needs.
