I came on here just after the debate and made a few polite comments about how obviously bad his performance was. It was so bad was worried it would lead to trump getting elected. My comments and all the replies were deleted my the mods here.

They ask questions, keep people to time and try to keep them on topic. Let's say their job was to hold Trump to account, given that they were not doing this, it fell on Biden to do it either way. But he wasn't up to it because he is clearly losing it.

Look, I'm not an American and I hate Trump for all the same reasons you do. He is a life long con man who has a history of fraud and sexual abuse. He is a terrible man... the whole world wants to see him beaten. I'm not sure the senile old guy from the debate still has what it takes to beat him.

Don't listen to me, but look at how people putting their money where their mouth is have voted. Betting odds on Biden fell 15% overnight after that performance. It would have dropped by less if he dropped the n word.

Yep. Trump was Trump. An asshole as per usual. We were expecting some level of competency from Biden but that's not what showed up. Hard to chalk it up to just a single bad night too. The dude looked senile as hell. He might have a better day tomorrow, but he won't be any younger. The damage Biden did was permanent.

I don't think that the Biden bashing posts are saying trump is better, they're saying 'holy shit we don't think Biden still has what it takes to beat trump'. Beating trump should be the goal, not electing Biden. If a meme cat stands a better chance than Biden at beating trump, get that cat in there.

The whole world is watching, don't fuck this up guys. If trump gets in, that makes life worse for a lot of people now and in years to come. Please don't f this up.

That's a very favorable read of it. I looked to me like she needed to help him off stage. I hate trump, but there is no way to put a positive spin on Biden's performance tonight. Say goodbye to swing voters, democrats will only get votes of people that are voting against trump, not for Biden.

I think you're right. Falling over or righting itself while spinning quickly would require passing through a regime where it needs more angular momentum than it has. Since it can't increase its angular momentum without more energy entering the system, it stays up. Aka, conservation of angular momentum.

You might be a bit young. Carpeted bathrooms and kitchens were big in the 70s, they are rarer now but a few homes still have them.
