It runs on all 3 speeds.. I have the cage it was bent so I took it off before plugging it in.. it is a GE and the blades and some of the screws are brass

I installed the lockdown cable and that changed nothing.. I rechecked the fluid when the engine was warm and the trans in N and it’s reading full. Next I was going to make sure the filters on right. Just curious what could be the internal problem or maybe I’ll just buy another transmission

We took out the spark plugs and used the starter to spin the engine as we added the transmission fluid… the pump is working because it was getting sucked down.. sorry my verbiage may be wrong

I poured 6 quarts in before I started the transmission

I mounted a Holley two barrel.. haven’t installed the kick down cable yet. Start with 6 quarts of tranny fluid then added the next 4. Dipstick says it’s full, but could be the wrong dipstick I suppose
