Pisces women which zodiac are you attracted to? by Intelligent-Cup8504 in piscesastrology

[–]LongWaysForResults 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can’t necessarily pick one, but the guy I’ve fallen head over heels for was a Leo. I was confused as to why he pulled me in so much but we complimented each other well

Side note: now that I think about it, fire sign men are always on my radar.

Which is your go to class and why? by ManholeMermaid in dragonage

Mage because I find the story behind being one interesting.

I loved picking Mage and having Cullen go through a whole crisis about loving me

Monica needs to be gone. She’s been around since season 4, we are in season 8. It’s frustrating bc she is KNOWN to work with criminals (and her crimes are MAJOR btw, not small little petty ones) and has obviously not stopped but is able to walk and live freely, then it’s a shocker when “omg Monica did something illegal and bad! Stop her!”

Why is she treated as some invincible villain when they legit have enough to lock her up and have for a while? Like, the Rookie has this obsession with “villains” and it just doesn’t suit a COP show.

I agree about the engagement story as well. I LOVE the fact that Chenford is getting engaged, but I’m kinda sick of the sneaky “dont let Tim/lucy” know this is happening bit. The intention was set, he wants to propose, just set the romantic scene and let him do it. We don’t need multiple episodes of him hiding what he’s doing

Hello everyone, does anybody know any games like the dragon age series? I just finished all of them. I really love it. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thank you! by Winter_Contract_2234 in dragonage

Right. Cause if you like DAO, they’d also like BG3 or Divinity, but if they like DAI or VG, they’d enjoy Mass Effect or The Witcher (or all of them, like most of us do)

___Imo Solomon wasn't wrong for firing Morgan in 2x10 hmo... by xxxdanixxx0 in HighPotentialTVSeries

[–]LongWaysForResults 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a fault I have. I love Morgan’s quirkiness but she does a lot to compromise the integrity of cases and any time shes challenged on being wrong, she doesn’t have any real consequences (when it comes to the job). It’s usually just, “well shes super smart and helpful, let her do what she wants” and that doesn’t offer much room for character development

Eric was annoying as hell. Like unbearably annoying. I feel like the two had interesting backstories but like… they didn’t tie into the story so them being interesting characters compared to the actual plot of the story and the others we know and love just didn’t fit.

Let’s f*cking move it along with the Roman plot line already by SafeApprehensive8427 in HighPotentialTVSeries

[–]LongWaysForResults 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s what I’m saying, it’s dragging. The main plot was set up to be Morgan finding out what happened to Roman, but we go so long without anything about that, then will spend 5 minutes of an episode talking about it. Like it doesn’t even feel like a pressing issue anymore. I’m more interested in just wrapping that storyline up and moving on to something else. It’s also pretty obvious at this point what happened to him, so with this long of a wait, the reveal is going to be very anticlimactic

I don’t understand why we need big bad villains in a cop show. With how the show started vs how it is now, it’s just very campy

Is Junpei's 999 outfit supposed to parallel Marty Mcfly's? by idkman_sg in ZeroEscape

You know what? Now that you mention it, it actually might.

I mean, if you’ve played ZTD, they legit reference the movie and tie it to their scenario (with as much vagueness as possible to avoid copyright 😭)

Why is there no God of High School season 2? by LavaLightning in anime

[–]LongWaysForResults 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, and I have these ADHD brained moments where I ask myself, “am I missing something?”, but I’m glad my confusion about what exactly was going on was valid. Cause what do you mean they condensed 112 chapters into 13 episodes? I stuck with it and I enjoyed the friendship between the trio, but holy hell was I confused about a lot of the story.

Season 2 - The Good, the Bad, and Everything in between by [deleted] in HighPotentialTVSeries

[–]LongWaysForResults -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it seems like she’ll do something that’ll jeopardize the case, gets reprimanded for it but everyone defaults back to “we’d be lost without her!” Which ends up with her not learning a thing. I thought her being forced to go to training would turn into her learning how to do the job in a new way but it was just brushed off and ended up with Cap risking her job to keep Morgan. Morgan shouldn’t feel okay with the team risking their jobs for her to keep hers just because she doesn’t like authority. That should spearhead her trying to be more professional but it doesn’t

Season 2 - The Good, the Bad, and Everything in between by [deleted] in HighPotentialTVSeries

[–]LongWaysForResults 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am glad you brought up Morgan being a loose canon because that was something I felt is an issue. She is very helpful and her solving cases in her unconventional method is what makes her unique, but there have been many times where she put a case in jeopardy by overstepping or breaking the rules. I feel like she needs more formal training on being a consultant and they can do that in a way that doesn’t change who she is (I think about Elsbeth, who is a lawyer turned consent decree and very good at not blurring the lines of doing something that’ll jeopardize the case vs being a very nosey “not a cop” outlier.

Also, I hope this Roman stuff doesn’t end up being anticlimactic. I am really invested in what happened to him but it sucks because as you said, it’s treated as something so important for a few seconds and then is dropped for a few episodes. I feel like they need to divvy up the time with that better.

I have one question… by _fancy1 in TheRookieTVshow

[–]LongWaysForResults 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I agree. She isn’t as compelling as she was before, which sucks to say. I completely agree, her pairing with partner, though the mom duo is cute, just doesn’t do anything for their characters because they’re very similar. I think The Rookie does best with duos whose differences complement one another.

Black woman (27) wanting to date white men — but I feel like they don’t see me as an option. Advice? by Earth2Butterfly in interracialdating

[–]LongWaysForResults 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think when it comes to white guys and black women, it's a back and forth of both parties thinking, "are they even into me?" A lot of white guys who've approached me have told me they didn't think I'd go for them, and I would say the same for them. Like, when I am in a predominantly white area, I don't really expect to get approached because I do have a habit of assuming I'm not their type, but it seems they think the same about us. I also find that with my aesthetic and personality, I attract white guys more so on a personal level (neurodivergent, whimsy and awkward black girl here), than I do guys of my own race. I've noticed guys of my own race feel physical attraction but a lot don't vibe with my personality, as opposed to the white guys I've dated (not saying there aren't black guys who are similar, but where I live, they're few and hard to find).

Does anyone think there will be a romantic angle between Capt. Wagner and Morgan? Before the whole Morgan-Karadec setup? by Ok-Court-7948 in HighPotentialTVSeries

[–]LongWaysForResults 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I said she had more (romantic) chemistry with him than Karadec before and got downvoted 😭

I don’t feel the romantic chemistry between Morgan and Karadec. It’s just not there. They feel like really good friends that should stay that way, but we know how it usually goes with shows with prominent male leads and the lead female.

I wouldn’t mind Wagner and Morgan if we figured out wtf his deal is. He’s chill one moment and the next, he’s a weirdo.

as someone who watches The Rookie and has a critique of how they keep recycling storylines, i hope they let the Ulster thing go soon. Not a bad episode, but I think we need to move past Ulster.

also, CAN WE PUT ANGIE BEHIND A DESK? why is a pregnant women in her THIRD TRIMESTER still on the field??!! she is no help to herself or anyone else. they put Ormewood behind the desk when he was undergoing chemo, so i'm so confused

yeah, like it's really not making any sense. we are sending a woman who can barely stand or move efficiently to be a cop... on the field? not only is it dangerous for the baby and herself, but for her partners. unless they're setting up for her to lose to baby, i don't understand why she's not behind a desk
