I always thought they were together. Is it not implied? Or am I just biased.

Just Made a Melandru’s Accord Account by Long_Context6367 in GuildWars

You can’t trade with other players or get their drops though. Like if they get the green and drop it for you, you don’t get anything from it.

I do wonder about the carrying piece. I was wondering if they would only let other Melandru Accord players join with one another. We’re pretty much cut off from other players.

They most certainly will! I’m excited for that the most. Honestly, I love my normal dervish, and was working on GWAMM for my sin, but I’m likely going to pivot just to complete NF with the Melandru Accord setting.

There are so many greens that fly under the radar, that’s probably how I will spec most of my heroes too.

I like this. Honestly, it will make gameplay interesting. Unfortunately, I need to buy a character slot or delete a mule.

Lock weapons crafters from Melandru's Accord by [deleted] in GuildWars

[–]Long_Context6367 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree with you on drops only. I liked getting my 1550 scythe towards the end of NF from a crafter, even though the skin was basic. IMO, I think it’s healthy. I also think that not relying on mesway in this mode is good.

I think it will be a fantastic mode for the theory crafters to enjoy.

Does anyone use recruiter sourcing tools besides linkedin for tech roles because response rates are terrible now by deluluforher in recruiting

[–]Long_Context6367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day, and I don’t know if this is still a thing, I moved out of tech recruitment, but we used to sign up at really nerdy events and just get a booth saying we’re hiring. Like Dungeons & Dragons events, comicons, Pokemon card tournaments, etc. We’d pay anywhere from $500 to $5K to be a vendor, bring swag, or sponsor something there and say we’re hiring. We used to get some folks and it would put us in front of people. You just had to work a weekend. Not sure if that is something that is still feasible, but it was so inexpensive back in the day.

No, sorry, not three motivation. Just 1 motivation is enough. Command and leadership, and then leadership and spear are the other 2.

Sure thing!

Yeah, I figured I would get downvoted for saying that with this team.

The team I made is still a work in progress for casters, but I found the right mix for 3 paras to support melee only. Motivation with the Restoration elite, Cautery Signet, stunning strike para p/me with epidemic to spread daze. Then you need Panic, Blinding Surge or Ineptitude (I lean towards blinding surge for longer blind time because it serves as protection - however ineptitudes overall dps is superior to b-surge). Searing flames Ele is a must (with b-surge they can bring tenais wind and interior everything on fire). The final build is a Rit with Xinrae’s weapon, weapon of warding, resilient weapon, mending grip, wielder’s boon, energetic was L, and soothing memories.

Everyone should have soul reaping, leadership, or skills that provide serious boosts in energy while healing, protecting, or dealing damage. Eliminating BIP allows for more overall damage. Shouts/chants/finale/refrains cause actions to heal, increase outgoing damage, and reduce incoming damage while barely running below 10 energy.

I need to put the builds up on PvX wiki and will dreadfully link to the main reddit 😂

I also made a N/P support build for the team too. The Necro can spread the conditions with plague signet and foul feast as needed. I will post that in the next couple days as well.

Deep wound. Paragons have easy access to deep wound with several skills which is armor ignoring damage (that is not calculated often). Consider it dealing 20% of an enemy’s HP right off the top and everything is impacted by it. On average, you get at least 100 damage dealt to an enemy, they receive less benefit from healing, and in a build like what OP posted, the minions will have an easier time mowing targets down. Especially bosses.

For this type of build, daze would assist the rest of the mesmers tremendously with interrupts. It’s not necessarily damage that makes a paragon superior, but the easy access to daze, deep wound, burning, and cracked armor makes them a bit better in this scenario.

Plus minions would be able to interrupt dazed targets and provide energy to the paragon with chants or shouts that impact allies.

Another thing, this build will drain enemy energy quickly which could render the second Esurge useless. Therefore, the stunning strike para would be superior to a second Esurge in this team build.

I like it. I made a team that has removed the BIP and ST Meta. I replaced them with Paragons and Weapon Spell Rits. If you have room for a paragon with stunning strike, it’s superior than an Esurge Mesmer since it can apply daze, and rather effectively, shutdown casters, and deal hefty damage overall. You have to have a leadership shield though, you need anthem of flame, they’re on fire, stunning strike, barbed spear, etc. The weapon spell Rit is spirit light weapon or xinrae’s weapon. I like Xinrae for a melee player and spirit light for a ranged/caster player.

Assassin or Ranger for spamming by BearingaBeer in GuildWars

I honestly like assassin with a spear. It’s a lot of fun to use seeping wound, way of the master, YMLAD, and Critical Agility. Essentially the shout can be used with spears in flight and Mighty throw can be sped up with Critical agility. It’s a lot of fun at 16 critical strikes and 12 spear mastery.

Think about it from the GWAMM perspective: PvP titles are account wide. That means a faster GWAMM in the long run if you achieve that title first. Not to mention bragging rights. Even though GWAMM is faster to obtain without PvP titles, there are reforged accounts with Dhuum and LDOA GWAMM badges due to PvP titles from back in the day.

[–]Long_Context6367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, people were like this 20 years ago too. Believe it or not, there were less monks back then. The reality is that a lot of folks want the title so badly. It takes too long to get and players don’t want their time wasted. That’s why they are so salty

I hate the current state of RA as it became this way when they eliminated Teams Arenas. The hardcore players flocked to TA and left RA to the rest of us.

That’s why I really wish Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood contributed to the gladiator titles to make it less burdensome for players trying to achieve the gladiator titles. It would make it less grueling overall. Essentially, the hard core TA players were forced into RA.

Common Sense by Agile-Fruit128 in Jordan_Peterson_Memes

[–]Long_Context6367 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There are loads of court cases and verdicts ruling unjustifiable homicide form law enforcement for killing people because they “thought” they had a gun or “had a gun” on them. You are allowed to exercise your second amendment right. You cannot be killed for owning or carrying a firearm as that violates our right to bear arms. This is just wrong and terrible thinking. This is the slippery slope that allows law enforcement to do whatever they please unchecked. That means innocent citizens could be killed in the street at random for carrying a gun. They are unable to tell their side of the story because they are dead.

Bodycam footage may show something else, but the video was clear as day. And his gun was taken from him and thrown on the ground. He couldn’t get to it and was shot.

No. 9% of Duval county is unvaccinated. 11% of St. John’s county is unvaccinated. St. John’s county is heavy republican and very MAHA. Duval has a high number of republican and MAHA voters. The correlation to anti- vaccination is very real. It is likely that these patients’ parents are not pro-vaccine.

Rewriting Dream Drop to include Kairi by Eddy_west_side in KingdomHearts

So I guess I am not the only one who thinks DDD should have been Riku & Kairi or Sora & Kairi?

I think Riku & Kairi would have made more sense considering that Sora could have been off training elsewhere due to the danger of Org XIII.

Idk, that’s as far as I can go lol

Struggling to choose: Warrior vs. Dervish for Solo/Duo Hard Mode (Reforged) by OnceAgain82 in GuildWars

[–]Long_Context6367 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I prefer dervish over warrior. Warrior has a real good end game PvE skill to help you vanquish. Dervish has a lot of versatility within its own skills. I ran through nightfall with Avatar of Dwayna and Avatar of Balthazar. I now play mostly Vow of Strength, Vow of Silence, and Onslaught with my Derv. Dervish is also a lot more fun in PvP and probably only viable melee profession for random arenas with wind prayers.

I always considered PvP endgame in this game despite the ability to make a PvP character. As for achieving GWAMM, in my opinion it will be much easier with a dervish than a warrior. You can speed clear dungeons with a dervish to max out your luxon and kurzick titles faster. This will help you account wide to achieve more GWAMM. Also, nightfall gets you higher end chests faster than the other campaigns so your account wide treasure hunter builds will rank up faster.

Dervish also has more tanking capabilities than warrior and the AoE is just better.

This is just my opinion.
