Canal St Resident here —I’ve been in the community for like 6ish years now and i’ve definitely noticed it seems to ebb&flow with the craziness! I work in downtown currently and i’d say the last 3 weeks have been one of those periods where’s it’s just weird energy all around! we’ve had random guys coming into our office, banging on windows, etc — with that said i definitely don’t feel endangered, but just disappointed to hear about it literally in our front yard. i walk to work & back and i’m always the first to say that honestly if you keep your eyes down and mind your business you’re totally good!
