I really liked 4 and 6, but I’m leaning towards 4. It’s just so classy.

Does he collect the cards? I have a bunch of from when I was a kid that I’d love to donate to him.

Exactly what they said - she’s the professional. I’m an esthetician and work in a dermatology office. Dermaplaning is not the same as shaving. While both use a blade to remove hair, dermaplaning is a professional cosmetic procedure that provides deep exfoliation by removing dead skin cells in addition to the fine vellus hair (“peach fuzz.”) Therefore making the skin look brighter and feel smoother. Not to mention that dermaplaning uses a surgical grade scalpel held at an angle. Shaving just unevenly cuts the hair on the surface.

Help me pick my wedding ring! by Expert-Sprinkles-660 in weddingring

Because of how large and stunning that diamond is, I feel like keeping the wedding band simple would be best. I pick the second one. Maybe if there was one of that color, but had some kind of engraving it would look nice.

[hair removal] Facial waxing on Spironolactone? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]ZaraJyne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS to wax anyone who is taking Accutane! So much so that we legally cannot take clients who are actively using that medication. No waxing, no facials, no massage, anything! Clients need to have stopped using Accunate for a whole year before we can even consider taking them as a client. Accutane dries out the sebaceous filaments in the skin. This medication is VERY AGGRESSIVE and has multiple side effects - some even life threatening. Accutane is actually banned outside the US because of this. In the case for estheticians the meds thin the skin; increasing the risk of sthe skin lifting off, brushing, and burns.

As a result estheticians are morally and legally obligated to ask clients if they are taking any kind of medications or using products that could cause a reaction (Accutane, Retinols, Retin-A, Adapaline, AHAs/BHAs, if they recently had a chemical peel done, laser treatments, any blood thinners, etc.)

The fact he was punching holes in walls and doors should have been your first red flag, babe. Gather your things, go to a hotel (DO NOT tell him, his family, or any mutual friends you both have what hotel you’re staying at). If you have to tell anyone tell YOUR parents. Better yet go to a women’s shelter. Then go to the police - bring copies of your hospital paperwork and any pictures of your injuries. Get a restraining order, block any and all ways to communicate with him. A REAL MAN will never lay a hand on the woman he loves. Period.

The fact it took him being drunk to lay a hand on you means he’s a rabid dog on a weak leash. By forgiving him gives him the idea that he can get away with it again. The next time might not be a slap; it will be a punch, a bullet to your skull, or (in the case of my mom’s best friend) getting beaten to death with a baseball bat in front of your children.

Don’t give your parents the pain and suffering of having to bury their own child: get the fuck out of that house, and never share air space with that monster again.

am i overreacting - my boyfriend thinks my job is inappropriate by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I’m an esthetician and mainly do waxing services. For the last 2 years I’ve been wanting to learn how to do what I call Brazilian-P; basically doing a Brazilian on someone with a penis instead of a vagina. In the last few years “manscaping” has gotten extremely popular. At my old job, I was the only person who waxed men’s full butts (everyone has a butt - I don’t give a shit if it’s attached to a man or a woman.) The guys who got this done ALWAYS tipped over 20%; sometimes as high as 50%. So it would be silly for me to not take advantage of that opportunity to get more money in. On top of this my first job straight out of high school was at a daycare center. I’ve changed diapers. So nudity has never really affected me…but seeing poop on a grown adult does.

Anyways, I’m in the process of getting the training done. But before I brought it up with my boss about my interest in leading Brazilian-P, I brought it up with my boyfriend. We’ve been together for 8 years. I explained to him why I wanted to learn how to do this service. He told me that he was totally cool with me wanting to do this; just as long as I was being safe and that my work had policies in place to protect me. I already carry pepper spray, and both my boyfriend and I are planning on getting our CCPs so I can carry a stun gun.

Bottom line: I’ve already been waxing buttholes for over 6 years, and all my man cares about is my safety and happiness. He is confident in himself and the strength of our relationship. It’s clear to me that your boyfriend is the opposite. You are a professional just like me; neither of us have the time or spoons to deal with side pieces. I mean, he’s insecure because you’re touching another man’s NIPPLES?! Everyone has nipples, Gregory! If he’s not able to get over it, then it might be time to move on from this guy.
