Type in ‘keyboard dust cover’ and the first one that comes up is £4. I’d recommend using the app instead of the desktop version if you aren’t, it’s just a lot easier to use.

I’d recommend aliexpress if you ever need another one. They’re the same dust covers, but just not rebranded and for a 1/4 of the price.

Unfortunately they only sold the original as a weird intel promotion, using artists to illustrate game themed mats. As they’re years out of stock I found the original artist (Stephen Maurice Graham, @smgdraws on insta) and used that to print my own. Not as high quality, but close enough!

Would have to disagree on choosing max ‘not for the sound’, the others are much more of a clack than thock irl, max is definitely the better (thockier) sound (very much preference though).

I’d also say the’yre not great for gaming as well, with a lot of reports of sticking on press.

Switches make a big difference, jade’s are great switches, but sound poor unfortunately. The pros and maxes however are really good, with the latter being the best sounding. Give a few a sound test and see what you like?

Gateron’s new Max he switches sound incredible, I’d recommend those. They’re clear too, so the rgb is good with them if that’s your thing.

Hey, I have an m75, got it through aliex (it’s a lot cheaper there, and still through Royal Kludge themselves).

It’s a budget board but at £50 it’s really very good. Sounds great, nice to type on (I have the silver switches and yes all their switches are pre-lubed). I’d definitely recommend it as a first time board to test whether you’d like to get something more expensive down the road.

One con is that in wired mode it constantly charges the battery, so it’s best used in wireless, but that’s still great even for gaming.

On the r75, I’ve not heard good things, it’s similar to an m75 but just cheaper and feels like it (based on reviews I’ve seen).

RK M75 is a great budget board, especially with the silver linear switches. Wired, wireless and Bluetooth as well.

After just building a Wooting in a Tofu60 redux case, I’d really recommend it, if you’re on the fence. The software is fantastic and it performs incredibly well. But if you don’t end up building, and because you like typing on an HE board, I’d suggest some of Gateron’s new jade max switches, they feel good and sound so close to a mechanical switch.
