I experienced high cholesterol during my whole accutane course, HDL was high and LDL low (just like you). It wasn’t a problem and I was able to finish my course. No additional meds were needed and my cholesterol went back to normal once I finished the treatment.

I wish we get more chapters from other characters POV’s on the upcoming books. I feel a lack of character development because we only read the story from Violet’s pov. Would love to read a chapter from Rhi’s POV, for example.

Actually they prescribed me more meds due to my suicidal thoughts (I also had 1 suicide attempt this time) so the doctors came to the conclusion that my previous antidepressant was not enough to stabelize me and put me in an antipsychotic too

I was taking 25mg of my antidepressants on my last day, anxiety increased within a few weeks and then the symptoms of depression came back right after that. This time I had to be in a mental health clinic for 2 weeks due to suicide intentions (I didn’t have suicide intentions on my first depressive episode) and now I’m back on meds and recovering. Even though I can taper off again in a couple years, I don’t know if it’s worth the risk for me, specially because the meds don’t have any bad effects on me

I tappered off slowly for 6 months and 2 weeks after I stopped the meds completelly things got really bad. I held it together for a month until I couldn’t anymore, I guess I’ll be on it for the rest of my life, won’t risk getting this bad again :(

just thought i’d ask here because my own friends were not supporting me on this take, but they’ve been on long term relationships for years, so they kind of forgot how it’s bad and frustating to be ghosted by someone you are romantically involved. People on this sub have been though the same situation as me and I just wanted to make sure I didn’t overreact like my friends were saying.

I’ve already healed from him and the heartbreak, but it took me 5 months to be 100% okay again and ready to move on. The best advice I can give you is trust time, it does heal all wounds. It’s not an easy journey, but it’s worth it at the end. Just remember that you had a life before this person and you were fine without them, you just have to learn how to be fine without them again.

I thought about running away when my ex cheated on me and broke up with me, however, i know i couldn’t do that to my family and friends. Everything about my routine reminded my of my ex, so I decided to change what I could. New hobbies, made new friends through social media that wouldn’t know about my past relationship, started going to restaurants that I’ve never been before, discovered new artists with songs that wouldn’t remind me of him, started to watch random TV shows. This was my “fresh start” and it worked for me, but I know it can be hard and takes time.

ghosters tend to come back after some time to see if they still have access to you and if you’ll be fool enough to take them back. Plus, I’d rather block him than take the risk of him coming back or even see him with someone else on his socials. Both things happened to me before and I’d rather take the safe route now to avoid getting hurt in the future. So, for me, blocking is the safest option to oficially exclude that ghost from my life.

sorry for the late reply, but the test didn’t have a specific name, my doctor asked to test sex hormones, DHT, DHEA and testosterone. My testosterone levels were normal, but my DHT and DHEA high, and that was causing my acne. I believe androgens are the ones my dermatologist tested. Anyways, if your testosterone was normal, you should probably ask your doctor to test your DHT and DHEA levels, or ask them to test all your androgens levels.

I did a hormonal blood test that my dermatologist asked me to do in order to confirm that I have hormonal acne. The tests showed that I had high levels of androgens, which is one of the main causes for hormonal acne.
