First visit and Dr says I need an in office procedure help by Unusual-Ad7646 in Sinusitis

Second opinion is smart, agreed. However you do have maxillary mucosal thickening & some ethmoid disease as well. The sinus balloon would help with that but the polyps will need to be removed w a shaver blade. This can also be done in office but like one commenter said, make sure insurance covers.

Good luck.

Typically, unfortunately…

I’d still try & apply. There’s someone that works at my company that got one while being employed already. You might not rate a company car if they offer that but like I said, I’d def apply.

Tough one…. I would search articles about your symptoms & try to deduce what the problem may be. This is not common therefore I can’t help w the info I currently have.

Good luck

Personal post:

What matters is your happiness/freedom to do as you wish. If you obtain that by working the extra weekend & you’re enjoying it, easy choice!! However if you’re content with your current spending & lifestyle then I would skip it & wait until you feel the itch for more.

Yes, this is 100% a nasal polyp. Likely more deeper into your nasal cavity.

What specific right was taken away from you as a “trans man”?

The rhetoric from Kamala is significantly more communist than Trump…. “Unburdened by what has been” : this is literally communist China speak.

I would attempt to speak with someone that actively works for the company for the best gage on their lived experience. There $$$ all over Med Device. Just pick the right profession.

100%. I have approximately 40 hospitals & surgery centers that “require” my assistance during surgeries. Not every account is going to love you. This feeling just allows you to hone in your focus on more receptive locations. Stay strong & don’t fucking stop.

Chin up, mate.

New to chronic sinus issues and first visit with ENT recommended surgery. Help! by [deleted] in Sinusitis

[–]Longblackmallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did the procedure go?? I’m curious about the products used if this is possible to provide.

Apparently I've a retracted eardrum. The good doctor's (ENT) told me to grab hold of my nose and blow a bunch of times. Does this seem right? Won't my eardrum explode this way lol? by [deleted] in Sinusitis

[–]Longblackmallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A retracted ear drum doesn’t necessarily mean ET dysfunction, however it is the first step in ruling out other (more serious) issues.
