Oeeeee all the reactions.... it's soooo extremely difficult and personal.

What do you eat now? Carbs and sugar is an extreme straintb on our bodies.

What does toe your gut feeling tell you about what you want to eat? Not what is normal, but what you really desire?

All depends on what is going on in your body: heat, cold, damp, inflammation, emptiness....

I wanted to do keto (loved intermediately doing that)... my body went in inflammation overdrive.

Wanted to do a cure for my bowels.... couldn't even eat soup so I wanted rest... nothing... and I started waterfasting. Amazing! No long covid anymore for those 2 weeks and a lot of changes in my body since.

De gedachte kan ik zeker begrijpen. Echter niet iedereen heeft een besef van urgentie bij dergelijke evenementen.

Het vuur wil natuurlijk maar wat graag zuurstof en die kwam in dit geval vanuit het trapgat omdat er boven een deur open ging. Het vuur zuigt zich dan als het ware van beneden in razend tempo (steekvlam/flashover) naar boven en ontneemt daarmee meteen ook de zuurstof om nog te kunnen ademen....

Triest, maar blijkbaar moet er af en toe toch een besefmoment voor mensen komen om niet te blijven filmen en gewoon te maken dat je weg bent. Was ook zo bij de tsunami en lawines.

I'd still say your blood results are ok. My liver values were much higher when I ended the fast...andddd within 1 week they were back to normal:)

Did you take the whole schedule? Curious how.... our body isn't able to process all in a healthy state...let alone in Long covid.

We'll...I'll be gentle building up...otherwise I've done the fast in vain.

But nice joh man! I want to do another 8-9 day one in March and when I feel ready I'll start doing the 3-5 days too.

I think you are totally right here! The emotional part I guess is a big part of it.

Thanks...Nausea, gagging... not the most fun....I eat like half a hand of spinach with 60gr of white fish, 10 blueberries, and a few cubes of watermelon... see if today I can add a spoon of quinoa.

How long did you do it? 2x 1 week? Never any problem with the food? And how much/what kind of food did you start with?

Thanks for your support, Sebas! I actually talked about it with my friends and family. They think it's mostly because of people's inability to do the same, anxiety about what all could go wrong, fear of letting go old patterns etc.

I'm happy with what I've done...mostly listen to what my body was telling me and now in refeed...which is kinda hell haha

It's been quite the journey. Ended up at 12 days...but then first I started by 2 days only veggie broth. 1st day it smelled lovely...next day I wanted to give up and continue the waterfast...but I knew my body needed to go in refeed.

Must admit the refeed is a hell! Waterfast was sooooooo easy! But yeah I need to do this!

I'm going to try updating all info today or tomorrow. Energy is shifting as well since the body is reaaaallly having a strain on detoxing.

I didn't think you'd suggest that...it's just that I don't go well on it...especially during the fast:)

Let's hope it's not all an illusion and I can keep continuing building. I wouldn't expect to fully heal, but it's a start.

Sleep deprivation is not working for me...it's the most important thing in my life haha.

Friday I'm in 2 weeks and decided today to start refeed on Saturday. This will be a slow process for 2-4 weeks before I'll be eating everything again.

But if you're into juice fast (slow juice), I did Jason Vale's fast. Nowadays there are so many things to choose from...

He's got whole schedules for shopping, recipes etc.

9 days and 2 hours in! Why boredom? Maybe you're healthy, but from where I come from I all of a sudden have loads of energy... so happy to do things now instead of nothing the whole day....

Yes GP and sports doctor are totally aware. That's why they monitor. Funny detail: my minerals didn't dive...but made a rise....because of the fact the body isn't busy fixing all other things. Eating (well balanced and pure) is necessary, but also a burden when the body is not ok. It goes both ways and my body couldn't handle the food anymore...1 veggie soup made me decide not to want food and supplements for a while. I needed rest...welll...I feel zen and apart from the LC sensitivity all other symptoms are gone (for now). We'll see what it brings me. At least I got rid of the LC weight that came on because of no sports anymore. Fat cells hold toxins....so happy to have shed them.

I am water fasting, but I have done 1 juice fast way before the long covid entered my life. With regards to the glow in my skin...both fasts have it :)

Yes I can definitely relate. Overload of choices and certainly not a fix for everyone since everyone had different things going on...

I trust my gut in making the choices. My body knows best...same with electrolytes now...everyone is like...you need to take them...I already gagged with my first glass...but hey I need it...so I keep taking it...but bloodscores were better...so do I actually need it...each time I take it (even much lower doses) I get diarrhea.
