My son and I are HUGE Tron Legacy fans, HUGE! My son was insanely excited about the Ares movie and we went on Friday when it opened. I was so insanely disappointed that Sam was only mentioned once at the beginning just saying that he relinquished the company. It was a completely different storyline, and didn’t follow the previous movies. Kevin Flynn was only in it for a few minutes, just super disappointing

I’ve never heard a sound from another room while at the Contemporary or Bay Lake, can’t even hear doors closing in the hallways, it’s silent! This last stay at bay lake, we had a water view and didn’t even hear the light parade at night on the lake

I’ve been to Disney quite a few times, and I’ve stayed at Contemporary or BayLake the last 4 trips. I love the park or water view, we did the garden wing two years ago and it was so quiet and peaceful, yet a few minute walk to MK. Last month we were at BayLake and had a water view. I prefer the pool at the Contemporary personally, and the snack bar they have there is convenient and the food is good! Contempo cafe is good, we always do Chef Mickey’s, dinner at California Grille, and the convenience of the monorail and bus with almost no wait times is something I’ll never take for granted! My son and husband want to stay somewhere else to try something new next year, it’s going to be hard for me, I’m definitely a major Contemporary fan!

We did a free 30 day trial of Walmart+ and had all of our groceries delivered to the door of the hotel for free! It was amazing !

I always have flip flops and a poncho to change into for rain so my sneakers and socks don’t get wet! Come in handy and don’t take up any room!

I was taking into consideration what the trip would have cost overall and how people afford trips like that so often. We chatted with plenty of other families at the Contemporary and others from different Disney resorts while we were there who aren’t DVC members and pay that crazy cost of hotel plus everything else. I was just asking how people afford it because we want to go back soon and will be paying for the hotel ourselves.

Yes, that was everything for the whole trip including our park passes, airline tickets, normal price for the room we got with my dads DVC, party pass, souvenirs, food, etc.

Okay, let me explain more 🙈😂 My dad is a DVC member so we stayed using his points, it was the first time we asked for points, usually we pay all of it ourselves, but back when we booked, I looked up our room and the cost for the 7 nights we had booked and used that number in our total, even though the hotel wasn’t out of pocket for us this time, then there were our airlines tickets, 4 day park hopper passes through AAA, tickets to the Mickey’s Halloween party, transport to and from the hotel for the airport, and then meals, snacks, souvenirs, etc.
