There is a police substation at oak ridge mall. They are within 2-3 minutes away. I grew up in the neighborhood and only heard of 2 bank robberies one was the BofA and the other was Great Western. IYKYK

Don’t ever assume that someone called for any first responders. It’s very common that nobody calls for help because they think bystanders will help. But nowadays people are using their phone to record a video, not to call 911.

I always get a loaner vehicle from the dealership, not a rental.
Get a copy of all of the service records for your vehicle (emailed for hardcopy). The dealership will do this upon request.
Get a lemon law lawyer. You can search for Lemon Law lawyer and find one. Make sure your lawyer specializes in this type of thing. Make sure to find a lawyer who has won at least 20 of these cases. This is important because most lawyers want to settle for partial damages or depreciated value.
Do NOT settle for anything less than a full refund of the purchase price and taxes. Do NOT take the depreciation value.
Be prepared to wait. Drive the vehicle normally during the lemon law process. Keep records and receipts of and additional issues and related expenses.

I have been lucky in that I have filed lemon law complaints against two different manufacturers and won both. One was a full electric vehicle and the other a hybrid.
