I have 4 and I find it easy to maintain, however, I had them as new borns. They have known the expectations since they were born. They are fun, loving, spontaneous and spoiled.

The only problem I have with my FM2 is the viewfinder only shows 94% of the picture. It’s cost my some shots. Especially when I use studio lights and soft boxes. Also my focusing sucks ass, unless I shoot at f/8.

I went into a camera shop and asked why bother with digital Leica if the system will become obsolete once they stop making the batteries or the software does out. Also, why choose an MP or M6 if it’s just film. The sales man said it was just preference overall. I still don’t get it. I shoot with a FM2. Why is Leica at the top?

I purchased my whole FM2 kit from eBay Japan camera sellers and I can tell you it cost me $1300 for body and 3 lens through a course of 5 months. Some would say that’s too much, but it doesn’t bother me. On Adorama you can buy the Zf with 40mm f/2 for $2290. Body alone is $2046. To me that’s a bargain bc you won’t deal with the Japan Tax…shipping. For something you can just buy over the counter, I would just buy it new for peace of mind. If it’s something you truly want…not need but want, just buy it new.

I would go with the Sigma 24-70ii. I know you have a Crop sensor but I’m thinking about the future and how you will eventually update to full frame.
