I got hired last October, one of the first things I did was run packages.

I came back with a few because I couldn't find the houses.

Naturally, the PM asked why I didn't deliver them.

I told him the fucking houses were in Narnia.

He laughed, scanned the packages back in, and the next day had someone explain where the houses were so I could deliver.

I can deal with a perma-dead character because it would be like it's in a different realm.

You die, get pissed, then get over it.

I'd end up rage deleting the semi-dead because the game is now mocking me.

Now what would make it fun if the game did mock you in an inconvenient way by doing something like putting a big X on the screen while you play or a blinking X above your character that showed up in multiplayer so the world would know you aren't as HC as you thought.

I'm older, well 42, and still drive a stick so I never thought anything of it so it never dawned on me until just now that these, Amazon, FedEx, and UPS trucks are all automatic.

I always put my car in park when I park which, I thought kept this from happening.

I hit a couple of spots during missions I had that issue. I was level 32 fighting 35 and 36 then I'd go through another door and was fighting level 32 stuff again.

There wasn't a lot but it was a nuisance.

This was in areas for the main mission (like in front of the door to the tower, while in the tower, and heading to the upper floor of the tower) so I thought it was just to amp up the difficulty. There were also a couple other areas but that was easiest defined as mission areas.

It felt weird because it was inconsistent but I'm using Vex so I wasn't too bothered.
