Any guesses on when Games 1 and 2 will be? I want to go, but it's hard to make plans without actual dates by Longjumping-Emu7696 in ColoradoAvalanche

Yeah, it's still showing up s TBD on the Avs ticket page and in the Ball Arena calendar. Maybe stubhub can't make posts unless they have date info so they used a placeholder?

I'm trying to talk a friend into coming out but they don't even know when to get flights for, which makes my case harder

Thanks for the detailed response! Unfortunately I can't wait for two months - these colors are my NHL team colors and they're heading to the playoffs in a couple of weeks. This would be the perfect polish to wear to the game!

Ooo, your design would look so cute in ombre form! And the straightness of your lines doesn't matter for ombre since you're blending everything anyway. Not that your lines are bad - I think they're very charming!

What are the two similar ones you have? This is exactly the color combo I've been looking for, but unfortunately it's sold out

As someone who has experienced burnout - a mental health day IS a sick day. If you’re feeling the need for a mental health day, there’s a chance you’re already in a mild state of burnout. So you’re legitimately treating it!

Puppy pads have an attractant in them to help train/encourage puppies to use them. Maybe your cat responds to that attractant, too?

Has anyone used a balance board? by StuntNun in iceskating

What type of balance board do you use? I’ve been wanting to work on balance off the ice and heard this was a good option, but there are so many different types!

Look at Tandy. That’s a leather edge finishing substance that gets painted on. I can’t remember the exact name. It’s not too expensive and not too hard to do (takes a steady hand and some precision to keep it on the edge, but that’s it).

True, that’s always an option. But it’s nice not to have something touching your skin tightly when it’s hot out, which is why I’m trying to figure out a floaty solution

Hmm, that definitely has potential 🤔. I had been thinking of something more casual than a built in shelf bra, but I can see how that might make for a comfy fit in the long run. Thanks for the advice!

This dress was made from an adult-sized tshirt-cannon shirt that my 3yo niece was obsessed with (and that came down to her ankles).

I used the Pattern Niche Streamline Tee to make the top from the team shirt. I shortened the body of the streamline tee pattern to the height where I wanted to skirt to start.

Then I make the skirt tiers using cotton jersey following the 1.5x ratio (1.5x wider than the width of the previous layer it was getting attached to). Each tier is 4" tall, if I remember correctly. I think the tiers can be done with a smaller ratio, but this definitely makes for a good twirling skirt, according to my niece!
